Don't Eat The Snail
MeatMachineII: yeah, it would be no easy feat. I don't know that a similarity to the iron butterfly part takes away...

love the edgier productions you're doing on your last few posts! real drums add alot. lots of cool sound choices (like that lead). and still your trademark story telling and imagery.

dig the simplicity and the repetition; it creates a strong build. might be good to add something to the music or the lyrics to resolve it.

reminds me of something i would of heard in a bygone era, like the late 80s, the beginnings of the grunge thing. i like the drive created by the guitar part, but the bluesy vocal melody i don't like.

Real cool atmosphere created; dig the background talking. But I'd like it better if it had more changes. it's coming of as a heartfelt jam over a guitar riff, which is fine, but probably more fun to play than to listen to. But overall, I enjoyed it .

just read the liner notes, nice playing all around man. i have a lot of respect for the song written in 5 minutes.

the problem with contemporary stuff like this is that it's too tight. love the loose sound you've got on this, especially that drum sound you got. great sound and parts, but the "song" doesn't rise as high for me. but yeah, tones and energy take this far.

the "low" vocal mix is way too loud on my speakers at the beginning of the song. i really like that somewhat dissonant keys part. the lyrics, which really need to be something in this arrangement, are rather pedestrian in this genre. going to round down to three.

agree with what's been said and downloading. what's going on with WGU these days? i ask because your earlier posts were more "full band" posts, and they've moved to simpler arrangements. just wondering

i'm super receptive right now; i'm drunk and tired. this one rolled over me just right; raised an eyebrow once or twice, but never unpleasant, in fact, pleasant.

man, this really sets a mood. very pretty for sure. when ever i hear your stuff it gets me turned on to the guitar again, and, well, to be honest, there hasn't been much action between me and my guitar recently.

don't care about the mix, but agree needs a chorus. right now the all you do is whittle is the strongest part. but a pretty cool upbeat and decisive verse melody is on display here.

Love the interwoven stringed instruments and the rhythm they create. Pretty yet haunting vocal melody.

"Saquatch" is an awkward word to through into a song; and that's cool because, well it is awkward and uncomfortable.
