very cool stuff. it's good to finally see some hard rockin
material featured here. Excellent production. Are you
working on this track yourself or is it a professionally
produced track? Nice drum sound. I'd personally like
hear a beefier kick drum. The DI(?) on the acoustic
guitar seems a bit sterile, but diesn't seem to need
too much tampering with since it salt and peppers
the track here and there. Very enjoyable song ready
for mass marketing to the masses! Whatever you
do with it, I'm glad to see some good musicianship
and writing with well administered production on this
track.

Itchy:::: yer thinking of that Nirvana tune... "he's the one/ who writes all our pretty song/ and he likes to beat his drum/ and he likes to sing along/ but he don't know what it means"

yeah, unfortunately the chicanery is present

Toadies have had a tremendous influence on me... one of my favorite bands. One of the only bands that still give me goosebumps upon every listen. Them and Melvins.

if mellissa etherage and elijah wood had a love child then gave it up to adoption and alec baldwin took it in for three weeks but ended up leting the ghost of moondog possess it and record a full album (being produced by Michael Jackson's producer) then, and only then...

cool tune, soft and sentimental. Dig the rawness, unhyped attitude you exude.

I'd also say leave i EXACTLY like it is. So many tunes get hacked
and edited and protooled to death with all these 'producers' trying to
create the perfect three minute tune, that we've all lost touch with
what is good anymore. Thanks again for a great great tune recorded
well (singmetofire- yes, THE way to record an acoustic and aaronlife-
yes, this song has IT).

this is the first song I've actually relistened to here on
redfizz, and one that I've forwarded an email to a
few friends about. It's not often that a tune this
powerful comes around, lacking all the trendy
hipster fads that come around with the 'new scene,'
it exists on it own powerful true goodness and the
sentimental message is clear and provocative as
it can mean many different things to many different
people. Hells, I was even thinking about asking
VACUUM HACKS if I could cover this song on
an acoustic gig sometime! I am inspired an have
looked back to my earlier songs based on hearing
this song. It has all the fundamental aspects of
a great song in it; nice guitar work, simple and
effective lyrics, an original voice to set the lyrical
content into motion, and the driving four chord
acoustic which is alive enough to carry on throughout
the entire song. Very nice work!
