Don't Eat The Snail
MeatMachineII: yeah, it would be no easy feat. I don't know that a similarity to the iron butterfly part takes away...

i kinda like this. . . it is drawn out well, and the vocals are more of a stretch than your usual. good job.

B-Easy could use some pointers from you! this is #@&%!in' creative, good job, bud! i like the references to the other MC's, keeps us from trying to compare you to them, clever! beat isn't bad, a little bland, but it serves its purpose. . .

again i agree with pynner, though Orbital isn't the first to come to mind. it's a little more of a stripped-down Thom Yorke. i totally dig the minimalist percussive sounds you use, and your ethereal qualities are always top notch. something is a little thin here though. perhaps a few meaningful soundbytes, or a speech, or even the schizo-like feel of hidden voices or whispering. i don't know, something to make this a little creepier would be fitting. . .

yeah, pynner, this is much closer to NOFX. not bad at all. i like the little start-stop fx before the first hook.

i can tell you are putting a lot more effort into your stuff, or at least this track, i like it better than your old tracks, that were on cliche after another. there has been a lot of improvement. beat is a little different, but does need to be brought out more, like some funk instrumentation or something. basically i agree with pynner. lyrics have improved, you need to keep using your imagination more, you are doing a good job at it so far.

btw, i like the profanity, it may be cheap, but it makes it stand out in terms of contemporariness (if that's a word). our generation doesn't even flinch at a string of #@&%!s and #@&%!s

i tend to automatically categorize stuff by comparing and contrasting the various blends of popular (or unpopular) styles of recorded artists, but its just my way of getting a feel for whatever style it is i am categorizing. you know, this sounds like ___ meets ____, with a hint of ___....... i never intend to point out that the style has been done before, etc. unless i specifically say so, as the style is hackneyed.

retro, but #@&%!ed into a contemporary piece. brilliant! seriously. this is good, really.

definitely not my kinda stuff normally, it sounds a long the lines of downset, but with a death cab for cutie twist. maybe a hint of system of the down or Dream Theater. pretty good, really. unique blend. good guitar wailing.
baby why you cryng demo

the bassline is kickass! this is, as unk said, good ole fashioned reggae. . . are you playing the bass on this one? some dub reverb/echo on the vocals would really pump this one up. . . your voice sounds a lot like Bradley's. . .
