Thanks Scott. It means a lot that you remembered our historic day. You and Robin have been at it long enough that you understand. I love her even more than the first day I met her. When the sun shines down, when the morning dawns, that is her. She bought me one of those Goober hats for our 5th anny. Man, I look good in that thing. I made her a foto album. I was able to do some cool editing of some great shots. She says something else is coming for me, but will be a little late. I caught her looking at guitar straps online the other day. Odd, because she doesn't play guitar at all. I like this recording now better than when I did it. Jeni does sound like a bee on this tune. But, she flat out nailed the parts as I wrote them. I should give her another shot at something else. God, I love her.

This suits me just fine. I love this sort of pop. I agree with the comment on the profanity. But that's my only criticism.

Well can I have permission to record and submit my version? I'm not sure if I could better either version, but since you added a verse, maybe I could add another bit on. I been messing around with it a bit and I really like the song as it is, but I often do better with other folks stuff than mine and it would be fun. YOu would be free to use any of my ideas that you like. And since I am a bit fuzzy on some of the lyrics that were added to the first part, it might be better if I don't know just to see how close my guess got. One thing for sure, I can't match the angst. However, I do think I can slap down the beefy melancholy.

There is actually a pretty good song hidden under the distortion. I might like to cover this in a quieter more gentle manner.

Not bad for four or five songs. I recommend trying one at a time.

This is just about as good as horrible can get. That which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger.

Nice recording and production. Bowed contra bass may have been nice but the synth bass lines support well and maybe stay out of the way better? Guitar work is sublime. The middle eastern feel at the start of the instrumental parts suit the lyrics and melody nice. The vocal suffers on the lowest notes, most notably right off the bat where "think they" misses in a really bad way. I found I was a little prejudiced against the vocal after that. Repeated listens eased my concern somewhat. I think the vocal cracks work, though that is not a style I prefer in male vocalists. Overall this song is a little morose for my tastes. I try to avoid demons as subject matter, but, you know, that's just me. And He (Jesus) asked him (the man), "What is thy name?" And he answered, saying, "My name is Legion: for we are many."

I just LOVE this melody. It disguises the scathing lyrics. I find I have to listen over and over. The doubling on the vocal is really cool. The microphone handling noise is distracting and unfortunate and the dead air at the end needs clipped. Feature anyway. I have been moved.

Not much of a song, and that's my biggest complaint. The chord progression sounds like the run out at the end of a song, ie... Freebird or millions of others. The individual parts seem tight so I am puzzled why it seems a bit shy on energy. I suggest putting some motion into the bass guitar part, instead of 1/4 notes on the root. I bet that could make it boogie. The keys could sound more like a B3 or anything other than what's here and it would be an improvement. I like the guitar and drums.

Almost missed the triumphant return of Organ Leroy. I heard he has a big sandbox in his living room with the Wurlitzer sitting in it so he can play and dangle his toes.

Some nice fluting, I guess. Interesting sound-scapes in parts. Liked the bent guitars in the intro best.
