Nope. I did the Robert Shumann stuff for a long time, but it has been a long time now since I last recorded or wrote. I mostly have just been playing and singing. I think I might be getting better on the drums. Did a studio make-over. Got some drum sounds going the other day. May record again soon. Having a few gear issues. Facebook page is still there.

I almost forgot about this period. Nobody can't say I didn't bring a huge array of styles to this site. Sloppy beginner drums. This was a construct. Tons of edits, mostly created in the box. Still, some of my favorite sounds...

My wife hasn't heard this. She probably would like it. But, if you played it for her and asked if she would think that I would like it, she'd probably say I would hate it. It has all the grunge elements that I don't care for. But, she would be wrong. Maybe I am just a sucker for certain burbly synth sounds. I love all the guitars. The vocals have found a way to sing in a way that I hate, but now like. At points, this sounds a little like Muse, though I tired of them. My point is, if this sounds like anything, it is better than what it sounds like. God, I love those burbling synths. I realize Fizz is dead and nobody reads these anymore. But, I was listening to chat radio and this song came on. I just had to give it a dozen listens or so. Worthy of comment even if the comment is over seven years late. Good job guys.

Not random, rather an IrREGULAR comment. I was browsing around my own iTune library and I stumbled across a cover I did of your song, Thoughts. I remembered being a fan of your stuff and came back to da fizz to listen to a few. Too bad fizz is dead, still there is a vast library of amateur music here.

The organic feel of the distorted guitars and vocal would be better served by a more organic percussion (acoustic rather than digital). Loved the song.

This kicks raps ass. Just saying. Make it twist. Either way, its all deviant. Anti-anthemic, but odd enough to be interesting.

It sucks that no one is around here to say something nice about this. I love it.

Redfizz looks like a bombed out Detroit.

For about the last 3 months, I have been totally immersed in the music of Lefty Frizzell. I have read 2 biographies, (one twice) and his tunes have been playing in my car and studio non-stop. I have pretty much all his stuff from from 1951 thru 62. I have Saginaw Michigan on vinyl and just recently scored his last two albums in near mint. I digitized those immediately. So I think there is only about a half dozen songs to track down. Country and rockabilly from the fifties is just what I am digging. How come nobody ever told me about Eddy Arnold? Or Jimmie Rodgers? I love to hear Lefty sing. He sings others' songs as good as his own, but he really wrote some great tunes of his own. I am practicing about a dozen. I won't post them all here. Putting together an album for my dad. He's the one that got me started in all this mess. I have quit writing songs. I have been doing improvisational instrumental music for a couple of years, haven't written a song (lyrics) in that time. Don't care. Why bother? There is this great music I am discovering. Right now, I am about discovering, over expressing some personal idea. Navin Johnson said it best, "Well, if this is out there, think how much more is out there!"
