I freaking love this. The abandon and swing of this joyous psycho-western ghost-town romp are a singular treat for me-I agree with balcerebon and Richie and join IE in swooning... The words (and dialogue) are inspired and unique-the music continually engaging.

(BTW, are you employing merely a cymbol for percussion? It sounds just perfect no matter the case...I'd like to try that! ) I love so much great work from this old stash. Day-um.

Disjointed joy-Violent Femmes meets Neil Young meets a zombie western set in a dust-encrusted punk ghost town...Extra credit! Love the arrangement and fun attitude.

Wow! I had no idea this gem was here...I agree with all the rave reviews. What Elephant said exactly. Impressive and highly-listenable bit of dub. Playing that would piss off many a seasoned player if not inclined to take the high road; I accept that for me, that level of playing is not something I can not even begin to aspire to...Plus, I'm a lazy old sow. Good work, Richie, Monkey!

PS. Does the guitar remind anyone of Clapton when it first comes in?(why, if I didn't know better...)

Haha! I had the lyric and didn't have the tune yet on this one when I began experimenting with the portostudio-The chords I'm playing on the guitar are from Gold Dust Woman which I'd just been playing for fun-Good call on that, Unk! (And thanks for the stars-you're overly generous.) The casio was kind of experimental for me, and I don't know if it helped the song or not, but at the time, I guess I got carried away. It's the first time I added any keys to any of my songs, so....Now that I've got the Casio working again, I plan to start doing progresive rock under a psuedonym...or not. Lol! I must say that I tried other sounds on that thing that were better with the song, and the keys DID come out a lot louder than they sounded through my headphones-I mixed it so it was just barely audible, but it kept coming out too loud, so I finally said WTH and put it up. Again, I was processing some heavy stuff and if nothing else, the song was good therapy for me. Thanks for listening, all! IE, I may just do as you've asked, but will probably re-record on a better quality tape before sharing. Or not. ; )

I like the young love vibe here; the vocals seem appropriate for this poppy little ditty. I like the wistful quality in the vocals and lyrics. Gotta practice singing your p's and b's without "popping" them or get a mic screen...although you've really got a lot of popping here, and no matter how good a filter you get(or make), I think you need to practice. Your voice is too sweet and charming to let that take away from it! Love the sweet innocence here...

Damn! Thanks, Will! Somehow I didn't get any alert that I had an additional comment on this one, but it's great to find this here anyway...Greatly appreciate the compliment, Mr. Disney!

Likin' this a lot. Eerie and engrossing. Wish the vocals were more up front, but I really like them...Yeah, this rocks. The screamed parts are tortured, but in a good way; I found them very effective. Liked the build, but it ended too abruptly...would like it to explode, then come to a calmer resolution, maybe having a scaled back outro much like the intro.

Exceptionally engaging. There's an earthy, yet ethereal surreal component of your work that reminds me a bit of some of the Meat Puppets' stuff...kind of like if suddenly the Puppets traded Kirkwood for Neil Young, but Young had to still write as if he were Kirkwood to keep the gig...A lovely and interesting tune; HAD to follow along with that violin! Loved it. Definite feature.

Wild, wicked ride. If this doesn't "get the party started," I don't know what would! Could this be the future of hip-hop and techno-dance? Really ambitious, and a cool listen; smooth transistions.

I can dig this, though I do long for some break or bridge to mix things up some, lead to more of a build...But I do like it a lot as it is. I'd like to see it featured for over-all musicality and badass attitude.
