ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

killer intro, killer progression, and well, overall melody. The lyrics remind me of Edgar allen Poe, maybe that's not quite right, but you know what I mean, remiinds me of that time period. Quite soundtrackish. The only complaint I have is that the distorted guitars have a cardboard feel to them? Does that make sense? Flat. I'm not sure what you're using for effects but you're a good player, you deserve a great amp modeler or something that would improve that sound. I swear it's killing ya! I can reccomend a couple things if you want.

The vocals are perfect pretty much - especially for your style. You've come a long way baby.

Well good idea, but Dale, actually I think you go goth and should collaborate with Dead Raven, wear capes and vampire teeth. Yeah. Otherwise another rockin tune.

Have you noticed, that you always come off unscathed Mr. Vernon? No one really has too much criticism. Nice guitar work on this one, you're as prolific as Aaron.

Actually, I can see you and Aaron collaborating too! Cheers

this is cute: and sort of Randy Newmanesque, but sad? Yeah- you do great work. The guitar work is cool the way it's capoed or some such thing. Cool man.

right on, submit more, I think we respect many qualities, although they are quite different than mainstream - criteria for rejection and praise are just as fascinating as the songs normally. Thanks for participating.

ok, it feels good-
it's a little sum41, a little BR- there were so many songs like this from Epitaph, its hard to judge on it's own merit. You guys are good and talented tho. I'd try to work on originality next.
