I don't mind your voice at all but it sounds thin and distant in the mix. To my ear it could use some saturation and a bit of eq. Performance-wise I like it.

I'll chime in...
Just as in any design or creation, what makes a piece of music special is when all the pieces work together. If we're talking about a song as a recorded entity, sometimes squeaky clean production makes sense and sometimes rough around the edges makes sense. Ideally that decision and execution is considered. Personally, I find the actual process of recording and making those decisions a blast. Obviously many of us can be limited by equipment, ability etc. but hey, that's life.

Oh yeah... i really like this song.
new CNN

The often repeated "CNN" part could be sung by a varied collection of female back-up voices. Harmonizing in some dissonant chord.

This is a really good song. As far as the technical crap... couple easy things that would improve it to my ears are to 1. pull back on the vocal reverb a bit. There's nothing wrong with your voice. It always sounds like someone's trying to cover something up to me. And 2. you could separate the sounds a little by pushing them off center. Cool song though. Nice job.

I immediately thought of Garbage (the band) production-wise. Don't know if that's good or bad.

I would like to hear the drums simplified. Sounds like 6/8? I might prefer a slow 2/2. My 2cents...

Love it. Agree with the mix comments re: balancing vox with the other pieces but this is cool. My CH library is growing.

I really like this. Don't do the star thing too often but this is deserving.

Bring the vox up but otherwise a very cool song.

This is great. Nice vocal and cool lyrics. Only part I might rethink is the abrupt stop after "we could write a book" line. Maybe something fades in quickly right at that point? You'd still get the effect of the stop but wouldn't leave me hanging. Anyway, cool song for me to download.

Another good one. Personally, I prefer "were you meant to be". More direct- like you are singing about/to that specific person. Small thing, but you asked...nicely done.
