Pop filter; I'll send you one. I dig the early velvet underground vibe. I'd focus on writing and getting familiar with the mic (in terms of the execution of capturing vocal tracks via you voice, a mic, and recorder through proper monitoring [headphones] and monitor mixing). Better yet, I'm sure someone near you has a homestudio downstairs in their basement who might need subjects to record. Get familiar with them and offer your songs as a trade to help them hone in their engineering skills while you get a demo out of it. Win win! Keep writing/playing/making contacts with creative peoples and have fun with the whole process.

great piana, vocals could come down and mix in with the music more... much more. Synth solo is what I was awaiting. I'd introduce that sooner. You could back off of the synths at a later time to change it up a bit. Personally, I'd verb up that vocal take and push it back further!

great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if you have live drums or really well programed midi drum loops working for ya, but I'd rather hear more of that rhythm guitar up front, possibly a tap less grain and doubled. The climb is nice, the change works well. Got some female voices to back things up? Expected that solo... well executed. Push them keys up as well!

nothing new presented here. I'd replace them midi drum loops with something more digitally organic (i.e. some congas with bit rate destruction on them, or maracas, shakers, etc, hells... take two chopsticks and bang a bowl with water in it then reach for the nearest destructive plug). I'm personally not a fan of the cookie monster voice thing, so I'll just say it's adequate. Let's here this redo with a fresh take on it and rid ourselves of the clicky double kick thing. Is the intro to this song a sound clip from "Basket Case 3: The Progeny"?

Syd Barrett memories... dig it. I have a slight urge to return to the down dirty broken days of my LES NYC existence circa 1995 when I discovered the MadCap. Very cool, except the skipping CD ending left me disgruntled; back to reality.

I want to drive an 18 wheeler truck into some cars while a bunch of police chase me into the sunset. This song will be the overture.

wasn't this in a David Lynch movie - like Wild At Heart or something? Moody, moving, great percussive sounds in there, I dig the non-perfection of the vocal harmonies/doubles.

I'd like to understand what you are singing about, but I can't make out the words. On purpose? Tune that guitar dude! Again on purpose? Not sure... I'd like to hear/understand this song, but nothing grips me. Kudos for the etch-a-sketch but DAMN them is some big legs in the background!

I dig it, although the name implied something more epic, the auto-tune synth vocals will keep those Daft Punks proud!

computer mics used? Get yerself an SM58 and/or SM57 and rock it out while watching your recorded levels. Personally, I'd push these vocals back into the mix a bit and hype the musical landscape. Maybe it's just my stoopid CPU speakers. I'm diggin the vibe here.
