Ohh, you used a Y in my name. How exotic :)

Probably should have put this in the liner notes, but I forget they're there most of the time;

This is a cover / alt version of someone else's song. the almost inaudible track at the end as it's falling out is a sample of the original.

I've also got the boat... But I don't have the lake. Buyer via CH, I would like to thank you for also reminding me to repurchase mule variations, I stopped recently 'cause it was skipping (just been played too damn much). Bone Machine's been filling the gap, but I repurchased MV last night, and I'd forgotten how much I'd missed it. Best album EVER! Although closely contended by Nick Cave's Murder Ballads, Nine Inch Nails' Downward Spiral and Peter Murphey's Cascade.

A link to purchase an album (preferably in digital format) would also be nice.

It is what it is, and should be proud of itself. Reminds me of something Peter Murphy, Can’t put my finger on what though.

I’ve aspired to creating music in this style on many occasions. I’ve failed miserably every time. Your skills, your track and you have my salutation.

Interesting idea for a track. The intimacy and openness of this as a piece of music is actually uncomfortable, but in the way a Nick Cave track is uncomfortable. Interesting and somewhat engrossing is probably as close an explanation as I can manage.

Not my usual brand of beer, but I’m impressed. Catchy, excellent production. Professional. Sounds great.

You’re more than welcome, my friend. Yes, I’ve heard NIN and Skinny Puppy mentioned more than a few times, usually in the company of The Knife and Genesis (and the film Metropolis). I’ve no idea what Partial Reptile sounds like, I’m just happy for it to sound like something.

Generally a track takes about 10 to 15 hours, spread over a few days, then anything up to the same again in ‘revisions’ afterwards. Then, if there’s vocals, another couple of hours.

I have no aspirations to be a whole-hearted ‘musician’. I enjoy doing this, whether its actually music or not; I really don’t care.

As for scoring in Cakewalk, I commend you. Last time I tried to use it, I pulled my hair out. Seriously, I have this big bald patch on the back of my head now. It’s okay though, as you can see from the profile pic, I have a hat…

Short, but energetic. The auld screams came across as very tongue in cheek, and all the better for it. Or, you were being serious and I just insulted you, either way, kind o’ enjoyable .
