Thank everybody on reddfizz for allowing my song to be featured.Ithink the reason they feature me is if nothing else im a controversial topic for most people.I will say this tho I use autotune if thats what u want to call it as a tool and not as a crutch if you do your homework on me which is very easy to do you'll see that. And i also think that what some of you are commenting on is the mix which to be honest if i took the effect off the voice which i may do and repost just for you lol you will find that there is nobody out there that sounds like me...I'm not trying to be anything I just and a pure honest artist looking for my place and voice in this over saturated world of music we live in.I come to redfizz with the songs that i post here because i know that 9 times out of 10 you guys give it to me straight and in my genre theres not alot of that honesty.I also know that most of u guys aren't "hophop" fans per say and i think what i need is feedback from people who are programed not to like my music and my goal is to cross some of you over if not to my genre at least to me.Once again thank you and please keep the comments coming because i do listen and i do go back and try what you tell me If i thought i was perfect id need no redfizz or comments at all im growing and evolving and open to change.

thank you chris and trust me i get it! I will def go back and ask the engineer to tone it down if not remove it all together and see what happens if nothing else ill have a reference both ways.In trying to break something new to the world as u know its trial and error and im not afraid to error if it means i get closer to breaking the mold set for me...As some of you may or may not know i dont consider myself a hiphop artist although i appreciate the term.Im just an artist and my artistic likes depends on the song today it may be a rap song tomorrow it may be pop and the next day it may be rock...But if you like what i do and think i can improve send me some music to work on im looking for live music to test my bounds on lets see if we can work together on breaking these chains instead of leaving it at comments lets push it to the next level...ravenhood420@gmail.com

Ravenis, you're the man. As far as autotune, I'm not trying to bash it in general but once you're using it past pitch correction and as an effect it takes away from you're voice and anyone who has autotune can sound like you. I agree its something like a guitar but anyone can get the same guitar and amp and effects and sound the same but you can't just copy someones voice. The voice says your message directly and is well.... the 'voice' of your music. You're like losing you're voice and you kinda get lumped in with all the others. For someone with a somewhat original sound it seems like a conflict of interests, but that's your call to make. There are definitly those who have successfully made an individual sound with it.

the only place i like autotune is in rap. they don't try to sneak it in like in rock and country vocals. they use it as an effect like a guitar player uses delays and choruses. i think that's way more honest of a usage of it.

I don't know how this got a feature, or what anyone of these other people are talking about. Its well done for production but otherwise its broke. You've got a voice dude, why autotune it as an effect? Anyone can sound like you now. There's no redeeming aspect about this. Righteous angsty lyrics with a beat that is stylized like nu metal. You might have a hit song with this but it would be because 13-16 year old boys are very confused. Gross dude, just gross. I don't want to be %100 rude. It's apparent that there's a lot of talent behind this production. It also clear that you are trying to break from the confinement of genre which is admirable. My only question is why mix rap with jock rock? why why why why why. Well, listen. Congrats on the feature. I'm glad others dig your tune, I hope you're happy with it. There are always going to be critics along the way and today its me. I hope to hear another side of ravenis prime.

pretty good, I really like the chorus, that's cool mesmeric.. a little over the top but I like the way the guitars are mixed in

Nice to see ya back mate, sounding good as usual, love the drop into rock without any of those gods awful trite (IMO) nu metal trappings.
Sweet.

This is like linkin park with a skilled rapper at the helm which makes me really annoyed. Yo, you know there potential you might have an original voice that people could really attach to, why would you just destroy that?

this feels real and heartfelt. i'm genrally not a fan of that autotune-y sounding vocal, but this recording works.
