Greyfield - "Fast Forward" is my second album as such, but the first one using Sonar 5 and some new and better equipment. Big thanks to Chris O'Connor for getting me up to speed on Sonar and the other software....the guy is amazing.

As for the music, this whole album shows my love for classic pop songwriting in its various forms. The songs on "Fast Forward" are all done in the styles I have liked a lot over the years, but never had the right equipment to make them sound like they should, so I guess this is my retro tribute.

For those of you listening who prefer their music loud, this probably won't suit you very well. I just don't have the thrasher gene! sorry.....

Liner Notes
This is a Justin Sandlin cover - - but just barely! It bears no resemblence to his original production. I was goofing with this song and the results ended up this way. You can hear Justin's great primal scream at the end of each verse before the choruses...he's a madman. I couldn't hit that note if you were standing on my foot. I still maintain that from even his earliest compositions (like this one) he shows an innate sense of melody and chord progression. Can't wait for him to start posting new songs...for me to slaughter...heh heh heh.
