I know this was generally not liked. I liked it or I wouldn't have posted it. I acknowledge that it could have been better. At the time, I strruggled with the mix. You know, for some reason, those things hardest worked on produce the lesser results. God bless those effortless things. They are the mark of inspiration. I post this to give it one more chance to earn fans. I am one.

People might have been wondering, where has that dumb elephant been? Well, I am having a blast learning how to play the drums. My wifey has been working very hard at home on a contract project, so that kind of hampers my recording process. But every minute she gets up to stretch, I jump on them thar drums. To fill in the gaps, I will submit a remix of Detective Duke that does the idea way more justice than the original submission. I haven't rerecorded any of it but a little mixing and editing can go a long way. I have decided to submit a Johnny Cash cover done by Moovis Cowsley. I know the idea of covers is kind of touchy. But this version the bass distorts and almost sounds punk. Johnny wouldn't have minded. I am not making money, rather, I am making a tribute. Bless his departed soul. Check these tunes out in battle.

And I just haven't been around the fizz lately spreading my love. But whenever I submit songs, I feel obligated to contribute a little. So I will as soon as I get off of my work (real job) marathon. Heck, so much has been going on. I know I am missing a ton of good music. WILLBE had a feature. The new itchybrother that I had been waiting on for so long has arrived. Potts continues with total creative prolificity. Scott has had some of that rat music going on. Shoot, I have probably missed a ton more. I will be back. And I can't believe those guys are still going on about the Baguette Ladies. This is a weird world for sure.
