Looking away for a while, I almost thought this was Whitesnake...But it's better than that and can have another listen...Some subtle touches here that agree with me.

You are all nuts. This is good by itself. Sure spacehog, sure 90's what ever....

Whew! Got that out of my system!

That opening sounds like the start of a Barry Manilow song...you might want to watch that. I almost didn't listen past it (that means radio already changed when driving!)

The vocal is great, production great, radio ready...Now...the most important question of all...do you have another one that is this good? Better make sure you do.

1. Technical ability
2. Good tone choice
3. Playing the right part for the song
4. Feeling
5. Originality

This gets:

1) 4.5 (Great, but I like a more pitch conscientious vocal, there were some spots)
2) 4.5 (Tones are strong, that keyboard in beginning too adult top 40)
3) 4.5 (Everything is solid but the tone or delivery of that keyboard in beginning...)
4) 5 (I like the vocal delivery and the guitars smash - rock)
5) 3 (Obviously sounds like the genre, oh, and SpaceHog, who I love ;)

Overall: 4.3 (Round up for goodness, but make sure you have a second single, SpaceHog didn't...)

I like this. Although, everything about it screams easy listening except the burly guitars that give it some kick, it sounds like sometihng on the radio.

Don't be fooled by the guitars! Get rid of them and this is getting played on the soft rocvk for the work day radio station... and it still might... you know in 1993, No one in this band is untalented. But this song blows. This song is what made me smash the radio. End then Whining little boys made me smash your radio. At least the singer sounds like a dude... kind of.

This song is LA! Woo. I wish I could float.

I could hear this on the radio... almost there. Not sure of the vocals.
Great arrangement and production is good... I'd like to hear more. Kind of Spacehog but heavier.

Well done, but cuuntry is dead on. There is nothing wrong with it. but nothing all that new. Maybe they are not really trying to be new? I found myself thinking Creed meets Wilco. They for sure understand the needs of the radio, and someone in the band or with the band gets being a producer, like I always harp on. Nice layering, Good tones, nice effects... Everything is right for the big time, except the originality. Not sure how to vote.. Second listen and I want to give it 2.5 but is that me just looking for something new in music instead of judging it for what it is??? 3 it is, split the difference... Photo is fantastic.....!!!!

I mean, if someone played me this song and told me it was big in the 90s, I wouldn't doubt it for a second. That's pretty damn impressive. Still, I'm having trouble grabing on to anything.

I'd say the hook is great, lyrics are pretty decent, good energy. There is nothing wrong with it and quite a few things that are right in my estimation. What I think it could use a little more of is atmosphere and something more interesting with the vocals would go a long way in that regard (I liked when he went falsetto, it made things a little more interesting).

The song itself seems alright, seems done well enough, just too slow. I agree with whoever posted earlier that it could be played faster. I was always waiting for the song begin but it just seemed to sort of drone on. Although I agree with Gibney that it is not so gay, it is still a bit and to me its the speed that makes it so.

similar to ARSE (who, sadly, removed his songs) i think this is derivative but in a good way. guitar riffs reminiscent of mid 90s stuff, but definitely has a newer edge to it, especially with the keyboard. easy to listen to, good vocals, and not so gay that only chicks or emo boys like it.

Nice Sound - Love the Chorus - It's deifintely Spacehog esque but it has a feel all of it's own. I would play it a little faster (I mean a little) as sometimes it seems it could flow more. Also the first part of the bridge seemed a little more spoken than sung and really got close to the melody of that spacehog song. I think this is a fantastic song though. It seems to have the same feeling that a memory has.
