ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

The Killin Kings - The Killin Kings are a true convergence of influences, with hard intricate drum beats, coupled with strong Basslines, overlayed with heavy guitar riffs and agressive vocals creating a dark melodic fusion. The only constant within this band is the love for music, which The Killin Kings have infused into a sound they can call their own. The band was formed early January 2006 in Chepstow in South Wales UK. Enthusiastic and with a clear direction of what we wanted to achieve, we went to work, piecing together the music. The band has emerged from the hard work of a rehearsal room, to an energetic live performance.

this song peaked my speakers.

You don't get a fair review until you fix it.

You know, speaking of rejection reasons-
They've gotten lazy and boring as of late. This is unforgivable.

Killin Kings: Check my thread in the forums for recording tips; you'll find them helpful I promise.

This has the feel of a Nirvanna song, if you don't listen to the vocals. Problem is, the vocals. I just don't feel that the vocals compliment the instruments in this song but instead detract.

TheBuyer, your right... typically what that "it" is, for record execs, is dollar signs.

But I find this song kind of forgettable, though they play with skill. I'd like to hear something a bit more original

clipping is sort of unforgivable, noise floor is less so. in this case it might even come down to something stupid as guitar tone, i dunno. you're close to the mark on the Queens reference but to borrow a line from sports talk radio, the intangible "it" ain't there.

What I dont get is one QotSA wanna be band gets front page and another gets rejected... does it all come down to production... well no, this song is not as good... but still!
