Animal Tropical - Fusing the wry and witty songcraft perfected by Steely Dan with tropicalia, rock, Animal Tropical's sound is super-danceable and, for all its quirkiness, goes over big with booty shakers of all colors, creed, and class.

definatly something i could hear on the beginning of perfect strangers.
Not really my style here, and the fact that everyone is in agreeance that it could be heard on a sitcom, should tell you the overall sound is pretty generic.

who's the chick? i know that ain't one of you guys. i know it's too late but the little fizzy synth things seem sort of out of place to me. i did hear a sitcom theme in there, must admit. not a bad thing by any means.

don't see bosom buddies, i see a movie with Gabriel Kaplan (Mr. Kotter from Welcome Back...) and Barbara Eden (Jeannie)...

Gabriel takes a group of inner city kids and teaches them how to play tennis at a summer camp, Barbara Eden is in charge of the wealthy girl's camp across the way...

on weekends they hold social dances...

life lessons and summer romance blossoms, but no one gets layed.

lots of denim and bell-bottoms and wavy hair

and a green 72 impala station wagon with fake woodgrain on the sides

oh, very nice 70s song.

It's alright. I can imagine it as an alternate theme to "Bosom Buddies" for some reason and I don't know that this is a good thing. The band is good beyond doubt shadows though.
