ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

Gibney's got it just about right on. This song is from 1996. I've been out of the loop for awhile and recently have been compelled to jump back in to writing and recording. Sadly half of the people I played with have moved on. I needed to revisit some of this stuff before I could too. I always felt that there was something missing to a lot of these recordings, probably because they were recorded too quickly without having a chance to be kicked around by the band.

nice and polished, good voice, catchy melody, decent B3 sound...a little bit hollow though.

This is kind of stale and flavorless (can something stale be flavorless... or does it taste "stale"?) but there's an understatement to it I found likable. Props to the guitar player for not ruining it with his solo and for the nice sound.

feels a bit dated, but not in a bad way. i'm just assuming many of your influences are dead and that you've been making music like this for quite some time. i really enjoy the vocals, but the song itself just leaves me pretty unaffected.

It feels so much better getting rejected this time...

very robert cray... very enjoyable... like all the little bits, the guitar sound, the organ, the drums, if i walked into this bar i'd stick around for awhile, if they all sounded like this, i'd leave unless life got interesting...

solidly good band.

Nice little grooving tune. It's not breaking any new musical ground but it's got a nice feel and it is well produced. And there is nothing wrong with being a 'bar band'.

generic a little but still pretty damned engaging
