ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

One more note, on third listen, I think aaronlife missed the point that the female is singing about each day, as it passes and realizing more about herself. Having the male vocal come in shows his point of view and the side he sees in the relationship. I think it works well. You may have a career folks...keep it up.

You guys are idiots to remove this song. It is very classy and the musicianship is very good. I think you have something that most people wish they had. You don't have edge, you have pure talent. Tone and attitude can get you so far, but pure ability can get you farther. Keep it up, I want to see what you do next.

1. Technical ability
2. Good tone choice
3. Playing the right part for the song
4. Feeling
5. Originality

This gets:

1) 4.5 (Musicianship is unfailing, male vocal is not as good as female)
2) 5 (Recorded well and tones are fine, fine, fine!)
3) 5 (I love the real delivery, female voice is smart and poignant, male could be..)
4) 5 (The feeling is fine (not just good, but fine in detail))
5) 5 (I love this)

Overall: 4.9 (You are the only thing I have only given 5 on this site)

TheBuyer: listening to what you've ranked high on your list, you wouldn't know a 'hook' from white noise. thank you aaronlife for some real input on the song itself: the girl didn't know the song all that well and fiddled with the harmony unsuccessfully. great idea for a website guys, but what you're picking isn't exactly tickling anybody's fancy: obviously i'm offended but that's what happens when you ask for somebody's opinion

note, female vocal sounds weak in harmony with male vocal, until then, female vocal shines and holds interest despite song.

fantastic voice, nice recording... agree with buyer about the song itself, male vocal comes out of nowhere more than 1/2 way through song, and sounds like an idea that didn't work out, and the female vocal sounds too weak. two nice vocalists, ok song, bad idea to share the stage.

pleasant enough but forgettable
monday seemed to be okay
everything's singing aloud and there wasn't a cloud in the sky
tuesday started breaking down
seems that it always depends then it slows in the end

tell me what's on your mind now?

thursday forgot about the day before
images shift out of light as it caught a surprise in the act
friday birthed its reflections
knowing it started so strong and went as long as it could

seems i'm always falling down
asking what's on your mind now

not along on the way was the intention mine
on the mark gave my all as my try lost its pace
know my heart, know my pain, know that
i will always try for you

tell me what's on your mind now?

-thanks to linzy from Nashville for singing
