This is a good tune, the vocal and arrangement are both very strong, this is a well thought out and put together tune...and the coice is very original, reminding me of three or four different singers in the same tune, which bodes well for you commercially, I don't think the guitar sound is all that bad, the drums and bass though are lost on this recording, they seem to be an afterthought, and are holding the rest of this back. Still, this is a hot tune and should have been featured, but I've long since learned to check the reject section first when logging in.

Ok, you could be really good. Guitar playing is on time and crisp in delivery, but the tone sounds like crap. Everything in this recording is muddy. The drums are mixed horribly and the sounds are awful. With a solid recording where you can get an actual "wash" on the hihat and a popping snare you will have something. The vocal is on key and the voice is pretty good too (fairly original). Oh, and lose the bell ride, it never works and sound so cheesy metal....seriously.

The songwriting is engaging, I think people will like it. My ultimate opinion is:

Take this EXACT song, don't change anything in performance and get it recorded by someone who knows what they are doing. You will be very surprised what the right production could do for you. Listen to the work some engineers have done, pick one, spend the money, and you won't be dissapointed.

1. Technical ability
2. Good tone choice
3. Playing the right part for the song
4. Feeling
5. Originality

This gets:

1) 4 (Playing aint the problem)
2) 1 (This recording is one of the worst I have heard here, too muddy and mix bad)
3) 4 (I think the song is strong)
4) 2 (I can see what it will be, but the recording damages it too much)
5) 4 (Sounds metal, but with a twist, female singer not like Evanescence good)

Overall: 3 (I give you this mostly for potential, don't let me down! Fix it!)
