This is whimsical, even the artwork...I like it, musically, it's well-done, and lyrically, reminds me of McCartney's Beatles songs.

Clever, tuneful, delightfully goofy stuff. Kindof XTC on a low budget. Keyboard sounds really crack me up.

Also probably the best song on this site. I have not had this out of my head since i heard it! That melody is just dripping off the rythm, with some great instrumentation.

Good song...Same instrumentation choices as brass tacks...definitely like both of these songs but have no interest in hearing more that one...maybe two songs on an album with this interlude...the first time...a little long for what it is...nice beatles nod

Pianosaurus was great band back in the late 80's/early 90's that played music strictly on toy instruments. Little Shroeder piano, plastic guitars and those dinky little drumsets. If I remember corrctly they did a Chuck Berry cover. Very fun.

I retract my statement about bass. I'm listening to it on normal speakers now and I hear the bass enough. It won't come through on PC speakers though, which, in today's day in age is something to think about.

aw mann that felt nice. i'd want the bass to do something else though at certain pouints veering away from the 1 5 thing. it's a cool tune and the vocal's sound good- recording wise and the actual vocals.

Once again, I'm blown away. The songs on this sight have been killing the past couple days. You guys have a great blend, a little beatle like, a little psych, I love the guitars and organ, so subtle. I wanna hear more

I like the song, and it is definitely weird...but that ending was pretty aimless. To make this pop more you should get that skipping record ending that makes you want to hear it again.

Vocal is solid, music is campy and silly, but really well pulled off. I don't think I'd listen to this over and over, but it works pretty well.

I do have to say however, that this style really reminds me of Blur...especially that organ tone, very "Parklife" (album not song).

1. Technical ability
2. Good tone choice
3. Playing the right part for the song
4. Feeling
5. Originality

This gets:

1) 5 (Playing is geat)
2) 4 (Organ tone is a little dead)
3) 3 (Ending seemed aimless, also structure left a bit to be desired)
4) 3 (Has same trappings I don't like about some Blur songs, too carnival music)
5) 3 (I just can't stop thinking of Blur now)

Overall: 3.6

this is really boring for me. The little casio in there bugs too.
I don't know, this is way too retro for me. The drums sound like they arent really a part of the song, that throws me off about this. The whole phsycodelic feel of this is really weird too, vocals come in...for about 30 seconds, then we're gifted with a minute long video game keyboard solo, i don't dig. Just when this song gets good, it goes right back to everything that makes it bad. Not a fan.

This is cheesy. I simply adore cheese. Oh, the awesome power of cheese. I liked this so much I had to listen to your other tune. I hope to be your biggest fan. People are saying both, your music has no comparison, while others are saying that it is retro without putting their finger on exactly what. Dude this sounds just like XTC. I wonder if you may be Andy Partridge in disquise. The sound also reminds me of Tipsy. My only five star rating so far.

I very much like the lyrics and the vocals. Very beatle-es to me. But the organ needs to be replaced by piano and the bass need to be deeper and loader. plus i would add drums with some pop.

I would like to hear other stuff you have done.

i listened to this a bunch of times, wondering why it was i didn't like it more. finally realized it's those almost nonexistent drums. this song could use a big slow ringo beat. maybe a heavier bass, too.
