I always wished the Dickies or the Ramones would have covered the theme to UnderDog. I think it would have worked great.

The muppet part only lasts a few bars, then I forgot about it. Extra 1/2 star for thematic content.

I ain't down. This is a song of perserverance and strength.
When criminals in this world appear and break the laws that they should fear and frighten all who see and hear a cry goes out both far and near...
For Underdog.

yeah, the muppety thing can wear a man down, it's pretty harsh. chronologically, i have been vapid, untight, uninteresting, generic, hookless, dated, and finally, eh. it's hard to feel like you have any worth as a musician, let alone a critic, when you are constantly being told that your stuff is sub par. hell, i've even been called a pederast on this site by one of the operators! actually, that little event made me realize many things about many things. most importantly, if you know who you are, can't nobody #@&%! with you (to put it in the vernacular). don't let anybody #@&%! with your head, my friend. there, i've gone and cursed.

I am giving it a rest.

I am going to give it a rest for a while. I found something amazing and like many things my passion runs amuk. I have bombarded this site with many of my alter egos. It has just been too much. Many have come to resent the crazy caps. I have nothing up for eval now. My life outside fizz needs attending.

But this song is me naked, right now. SF and the G's is within the last year, but everything else is older than dirt. And there is plenty more from where they came. Still, I am going to give it a rest. I wrote and recorded this in a few hours just the other day. It is my response to the feelings one gets when their passion is laid up for judgement before the world (or at least other cave dwellers such as myself). This is me with no smoke and mirrors (for a change). Love it, hate it, whatever. Please comment on it. I will post some more old stuff occasionally when I get bored. New stuff as it happens. Probably from my new band In Flagrante Muppeto.

classic muppet show duet between kermit and jerry garcia, after kermit gets his nose busted by gonzo's car, i like it... i hit play again... not a rejection reason for me, Rainbow Connection was, and still is, one of the great tunes of the last few decades... great production job on this one... very nice to listen to, catchy, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Gradisco questo. Non penso che sia Muppety.
The dangedest thing happened. I went to the mall to get Jenisue some of that stuff that makes her hair smell funny, and I ran into LiTTLE TiMMY. I suggested that we catch up over a few beers in Dunderboks. When we got there RuSTY StAGGERBUsH and EdGAR were sitting at a table. Seems the same thing happened to them. I suggested that we get the band back together. RuSTY was preparing to leave for a tour of Latvia with his band MoOViS CoWSLeY. So that was that. Later he eMailed me saying he had seen how I had posted some of our old singles on RedFizz. He sent me a demo of a song he had just written while sitting on the banks of the river Daugava. He also sent me some drum tracks. Me and the boys popped over to PiG CiTY SoUND Co. and finished it up. LiTTLE TiMMY sang and EdGAR blew the Ripper Back From The Grave.

I was drivin' around
yeah I was drivin' around
while I was drivin' around
something hit me in the nose
but thats the way it goes

Well I was goin' down town
yeah I was Lookin' around
trying to find my sound
when it hit me in the nose
and thats the way it goes

I've been bloodied before
and I'll get bloodied some more

Well I don't even know
what I don't even know
and I can't even know
even though it makes its home
right in front of my nose

And it hurts when I learn
and it causes a burn
and when it takes a turn
and it hits me on the nose
ain't it a bloody rose

I've been bloodied before
and I'll get bloodied some more
