Animal Tropical - Fusing the wry and witty songcraft perfected by Steely Dan with tropicalia, rock, Animal Tropical's sound is super-danceable and, for all its quirkiness, goes over big with booty shakers of all colors, creed, and class.

Not fond of the whiny vocal. At least you're all having fun. This song just sways back and forth and never gets anywhere.

yeah, the band is on the radio now playing 'stage fright', that's kinda what this should sound like, these guys can do it, i've heard it on some of their tracks...

i hear a really good song in there but (to me) it still sounds like there are 4 people playing the same song, but not together, not in concert. i've also said before that this would probably put this in the genre of dixieland rock. but, damned if i don't want to love this stuff.

i lose the vocals just before 20 seconds they get too quiet, and stay too quiet, i think the beatle bars i'm hearing are from maxwell's silver hammer or something off abbey road, like oh darling... just around 1 minute... just so you know, i think a re-arrangement could really polish this into a gem.

I listened to the first 10sec of this song and dismissed it. But you all seemed to at least be leaving it alone, so I thought I'd actually listen. Personally, I think you're trying way too hard to imitate this vocal style. But when you sing;

Bootsales girl, I'm not clockin' out!

I could start to get behind you.
Solid musicianship, the lead guitar seems to just be wandering. I like the beatles in a blender thought except all the backup vocals were syphoned off.

yeah, i tried again, this one just never finds a groove with me, but i appreciate the feeling and the serious amount of work they give their performance...

the vocals are annoyingly quiet and mumbled in the mix; i really like this band, but this song doesn't do it for me at all... i love the vibe, and the energy, and the quality of playing, and the singer, but the tempo and the melody is way too choppy for me, like there's too many ideas, and no real flow, sounds like a beatles song run through a blender.

The band sounds great, the vocals great. The song goes a little long without much of a change, but man there are so many good parts in here.
