SP - So sorry I didn't take the time to critique this with more words. I will do that now.
The music is executed with some skill but lacks appeal for me because of its droning, march-type flavor. The vocal quality of the singer is pretty good but the lyrics are vague, boring and full of self pity. There is more depth and passion to your bruised comments to other critiques. Where was the wordsmithing when writing this? Don't be upset. Get some kisses and everything will be alright.

Well, i think it also has a lot to do with Genre favoring.
I myself am a fan of music with some energy in it. Mostly rock, hard rock type stuff. I like the heavy. Punk, metal, all that.
But some people here are into electronic.
Some are into Indy. Some are into alternative.

So, some people will get really good reviews and help on what can be changed/done different, sometimes it's garbo, and sometimes it's really insightful. But, i tend to use it (at least with my music) as kind of a learning platform in and of itself, even though it's insulting.

The thing that makes any musician "successful" is how well their music appeals to a vast audience, even though it may be of a certian "genre"

For instance: Fall out boy. (whom i #@&%!ing HATE)
The reason they are huge, is becuase all kinds of people love their music.
Hip hop fans, country bumpkins, the screamo kids, the tommy lee loving Moto X brofaces, They have fans in every walk of the generation no matter what they prefer by genre. SO, with that said, instead of writing EVERYONE off that gives you a bad review, mabye think "ok, what can i do, that will make this people like my #@&%!, even though its something they've NEVER been into"

on myspace, unfortunately even from my own critiques,
but I think as critics we all need to focus on constructive
responses and thorough explanations instead of "sucks"
and "hated it." These types of smarmy self important critiques
will lose viewers and potential Redfizz members. If someone
recorded a song and put even the least bit of time to place
it on a critique forum, I'm sure they think it rocks or it is
great in someway, so these single worded critiques are
basically a waste of everyones' time. Possibly these "top
critics" are trying to keep their top ten Critic status active
by the shear number of (useless) critiquing. The age old
battle of quantity vs. quality. What a shame.

Right out of the gates the guitars sound good. Great tone.
The vocals sound a little TOO up front in the very beginning, and i think that note your hitting "i knooow" may be a little off. The part where you start getting into a higher range, it sounds like your a tad more comfterble, it sounds better.

The chorus is good too, you almost sound like the guy from Offspring.
I would say lose the "ni-e-ight" pronounciation, it kinda makes you sound like a sally. I think if you just kept the pronounciation of the words straight forward it would add to a "tuff" feeling you have going with this track.

Sounds like all the levels and tones are pretty good. Your definatly doing a lot more right than you are wrong. Yeah, your definatly more comfterble in that higher range. Id stay stick with that one a little more?

Good stuff, i think this may be the best track i've heard from you actually.

thanks fer the commentsl although "sucks" and/or "dumb" doesn't
really seem to help a person become un-sucky, buit I guess there
are people here just looking to un-frusterate themselves by being
curt and short in their 'critiques.' Alas the world needs ditch diggers
too (I say ditch diggers simply because the lack of eloquence
simply points toward their constructive natures).

your voice. i don't like it.
an older song that I recently found
which I tracked at a studio and wasn't
pleased with the recorded tracks. Well,
I hooked up ye 'ole reliable Garageband
with some phat(?) guitar simulation and
this is what came out!

I know
what you're thinking
what you're thinking tonight

and after your kisses
I feel fine
like after the daytime
comes the night
and after the moring
I feel fine
everything else
is black and white

you don't know
I am bleeding
and it's not right

and after your kisses
I feel fine
like after the daytime
comes the night
and after the moring
I feel fine
everything else
is black and white

I know
what you're feeling
you're feeling tonight

and after your kisses
I feel fine
like after the daytime
comes the night
and after the moring
I feel fine
