yes, "the nectarines" and the band called "nectarine" are two different bands completely. check the profiles.

Your singer has a wonderful voice! The song itself is a little too 1-2-1-2 to keep me interested for a long time. I kept wanting to hear the song break away.

Nothing WRONG here, it is just much too boring/long for me.

If this is in fact nectarine, i think they've done better. If not, i guess i just don't like your band.

well alright! nectarines! stretching out a bit into the nectar-rock zone! totally groovalicious. i dug the spacey bit at the end. if i had a suggestion it wouold be to lengthen the title of the tune. you know, like "we are astronauts/stars in the oort cloud" or something like that.

Beatle-esk in nature makes its appeal, but it needs a variation in the beginning few bars of the chorus in my opinion to break up the repitition. I do enjoy the song and the ending that goes off on a completely new tangent. 3.5 mchristopher

I like that it's spare and spread out, and the vocals work fine for me. The ending has enough happening subtly as it is. I just imagine that if this were played live, that it would be a great place to improvise and build up into a torrent of something extra, extra good...

I'm not sayin they have to do anything. But there isn't enough to this song to justify it's length beyond 3 mins. And there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, they do sorta end the song at 2:43 anyway. And the second half is really strong, it should really be pushed into a new song.

But left alone, it's fine.

it's really the vocals that are lacking for me, not the quality of the voice, but how the vocals are used here... i know these guys can make it better.

I like it how it is. If my life depended on giving a suggestion for how it might be improved, I would have to say "just add to what you already have in the end part". You can quote me on that.

Great song I especially enjoyed the vocals. I would turn down the (shaker?) after the music begins again. I really enjoyed the drum part very Ringoish though a bit wooden did drummer play to a metronome? I would suggest no metronome for this song for a more smooth organic feel. Overall great song and I look forward to more songs from you guys.

yeah, this is fun, groovy, i think the vocals need something, to help them hold their own space, louder in the mix, something, the quality of the voice is great, the guitars make the song....

it gets really great when the deep instrumental harmony comes in on the chorus, that fills out the vocal, that's what it needs for the rest of it... that strength, not necessarily the same idea...

agree with itchy too, i really like that post 2:43 thing, but it cut so smoothly into it, it was almost like waking up from one dream into another completely different dream with no continuity, despite the seamlessness...

it was too quick for me.

i'd either use it for something else, or find a different way to merge the two...

at least on first and second listen.

this is cool.

Itchy's right, this song should end at 2:43, and you should use the ending for another song...

Cool song. It has a great nonchalant feel and sneaks under the radar and into my brain's music appreciation zone. Yeah, that's exactly what it does. I think the ending works too...itchbrother's comment makes sense but I think the ending would serve the same function within the context of an album...just a nice little instrumental before the next song. Nice one mang.

I kinda like this, I sorta like that it's underdeveloped. Or not really underdeveloped, just kept simple. But I would like the song to stop at 2:43, and then I would like the ending minute forty to be the start of a new song. That part is cool, and the two go together nicely. So turn the end into another song, 3 to 4 mins long, and keep the first one nice and short.

groove chord, that's funny.

there's something cool about this but it's under developed. The mix needs help but still cool.

Is this the electronica (i don't know what that means) The Nectarines? They have discovered the groovy chord. And I love it. I would have produced it different though. Raw like dig a pony. This goes soft. Ya ever play your songs through one of those one finger arranger personal keyboards? If it is a good song it works on all of the rhythm settings. This song has the groovy chord.
