Justin Sandlin - Don't open your mouth unless you have something good to say.

I am not a record buyer...I am a crook!

I'm a genius and you're stupid!!!!

Just kidding, of course. I don't think anyone is that much better than anyone else.

I think the vocals and their recording quality killed this song. It's just too distracting.

Bob Dylan quality? I don't think I sound anything like him. His register is a little lower than mine.

that bob dylan quality in your voice sounds a bit forced at times, this sint even close to your top work, but its on its way to being cool

I was looking for a song to cover and I remembered this. After listining to it again I don't think I should mess with it. I think the lyrics are great, I love the singing, especially when you hit so many notes. Like the melody and progression too.

this is a great song, very well-written, great melody, why didn't i leave a comment for this, this is like the 70s all wrapped up in a nice package for today, with george harrison's seal of approval

oh this is nice. a rough diamond. those cymbals bug me, but that's small. Maybe just turn them down in the mix. The other drum sounds work just fine. With some work on the vocals this'd be so sweet. The melody is breezy. Creates a wonderful late night mood, one warm lamp on in the sitting room.

I like where it drops down at 2:29 and starts the climb.

Dude-you need to get some really good studio equipment For what you are using, you get a really nice sound. I can't imagine the sound you would have with some better equipment, but my guess it would be wonderful. Another great song Justin. You have a very bright future.

Unksam, I use my soundcard and cheap microphone. I use FL Studio to write a base track then record everything else on top of that.

showoff! you're improving, keep it up what do you record with anyway?
I decided to dust off one of my older demo tracks and produce a more complete and full song. You can hear it on RedFizz as the track improperly titled "It's All Good To Me."

I thought I'd start the song with a pleasant harmony then just suddenly smash it with the verse cutting in. Organs come in after the first chorus but I don't know if they're obvious in this mix. I'm pleased with the rhythm and the bass. I'm sure this would sound great with a real band since more than half of it is synth.

I'm not satisfied with what my microphone does to my vocals. It makes them sound weak and empty. However, I don't think I had to many pitch problems on this song. There are times that I'm doing more of talk/shout singing but I thought it fit the feel of the song. The third verse is probably the least shouty.

The lyrics are pretty self-expanatory. There's no need to fear what could be.

The glass is full
The cup is empty
The King is Rule
The Fools are Plenty

But there's no reason to fear
Whatever I'm doing here
It won't hurt me
I don't need to fear
What could be

I could be wrong or I could be right
I could be still or I could fight
I can panic or I can roar
I can find meaning to soar

Strength or Justice
Let's make a ruckus
And find a pause
To make our cause
