wow, that has to be the first time a band has been compared to my band. If anything maybe I sound like The Schmoejoes, I'll bet they've been doing this longer than me. They're certainly better players.

I have mixed feelings about this one. I think it's ok, but maybe not catchy enough. It's got all the tasty elements it should have, but the chord progression sounds like you took some stock progressions and pasted them together. Maybe if the lyrics were stronger (or even good) I wouldn't care. But there already was a Beatles-based bubble gum pop song called Baby Blue, by Badfinger. Of course you're allowed to use the same title, but somehow it seems like you shouldn't be allowed to, especially if it was a hit and even more especially if you're trying to sell it in the same genre.

production sounds fine to me. performance is good. but nothing here to make me come back, nothing to make me think, oh yeah that song with the cool guitar or the song with the wild organs or the song with the interesting lyics. When I leave here the only thing I think is, oh yeah, the song named after the Badfinger song. Actually, it's the only thing that made me listen in the first place.

I like this. It's well done. Sometimes the vocals don't hit me the right way, especially when the singer goes low.

Something is off with the production. I think the volumes of the instruments need to be readjusted. The piano and guitar are too quiet in the mix and that makes this song sound much more distant than it really is. It's a very heart-ish song and needs to have a warm feeling and production to match. I think the current mix doesn't quite get that accross.

ok, i'm old enough to remember when this kind of bubblegum pop was all over the radio so i gravitate towards it for that reason. this is way more eric carmen and/or harry nillson then billy joel. comments: i'd have about 8 vocal tracks, harmonies & doubles, perhaps countermelodies, particularly on the chorus. i can hear some but i'd like to hear more. i know it maight be formulaic but i'd love to hear a bitchen little guitar solo break over the bridge changes. and for the piece de resistance, a modulation for the chorus out! ok, maybe i've gone too far. finally, i'd like to say that regardless of my commentary, i REALLY like this song. very nice, in the non-ipod.

Campy in a Billy Joel sort of way. Not bad, well played.

you're like the kid in the candy store
when you're wasted
you keep feeling down
sweet sugar sound

all you can do is to bide your time
till you make it
you don't fool around
your fool's in town

you say you're my baby blue
I will take care of you
like I did it for no one else

and I dont make due or die
you ought to suicide
like you did for someone else

making a bet with your loaded dice
till you lose it
keep rushin in
wont ever win

taking the test with the ultimate price
and you aced it
the hero is in
brought his heroine

you say you're my baby blue
I will take care of you
like you did it for no one else

I wont tell you lies
I apologize
you can hear it from a

love that dont matter
oh you better

spend all your time around me
say that you will
we say
do do do
do do do

make a new plan and you already find
that you've made it

it's so unkind
you're piece of mind

you say you're my baby blue
I will take care of you
like I did it for no one else

oh you - you don't believe in love
so you don't talk it up
but you didn't think it out
love dont matter
oh you better

oh you - you don't believe in love
so you don't talk it up
but you didn't think it out
love dont matter
oh you better

spend all your time around me
say that you will
I say
do do do do do do
