Adam Jones - I've been writing songs for the last 3 years or so but i feel that my style has only started to solidify. I've played in a couple of bands but i'm drawn to the romanticism of the singer-songwriter, so i've decided to go the DIY route for now. I've nearly finished setting up an amateur studio in my bedroom which i hope to record more of my songs on.

If you like a song then please head to my myspace to download it, they're worthless to me unless somebody hears them and feels better. I'm pretty sure i could trace every identifiable part of my personality and appearance to a song somewhere that touched me. I'll always be updating with new songs as i write/record them, so add me and stay in touch.

Dont let people who tell you that your too Elliott Smith like. Alot of times when I set out to make a good song I strive to be channel Elliott.

Enjoyed this. Definitely hear the Elliot Smith, but I think the "hook" at the end "If you really wanted me you would speak up now" actually works nicely.

Not bad, but to put yourself apart from the rest of the endless ocean of entropy, that is acoustic artists, you need to speak up.

I think it's gross when i can hear the fact that you had a little bit of a dry mouth.
You guys know what im talking about, when you can hear that little mouth Smack?
Ugh, like nails on a chalkboard.

Anyhow, this is ok for a really quiet song, in falsetto, that you can hear the artists mouth smack on.

sounds pretty good, but man, take your own advice and speak up!

Sounds like an Elliott Smith imposter. That aside, it's pretty good. I just can't get around the ES similarities in the vocal effects and mannerisms. Good guitaring.
Now he's talking,
And of course you're listening,
Waiting for your turn
To get hurt again.

Don't think that i don't know you're still
Wishing that you were with him,
Back the way things were,
When we were all friends.

Guess I've spoke out,
And you've put me back on the shelf,
And 'til i say i'm sorry,
You'll turn to someone else.

I'm getting pretty tired of having to
Always repeat myself,
And you're just a story
You don't know how to sell.

So come on and drag this out
'til you've got no-one left to lose.

You're getting quiet,
And it's filling me up with doubt,
And when he throws his shadow,
I just want to get out.

And doing the talking for us both
Is getting to me now.
'cause if you really wanted me
You'd speak up now.
If you really wanted me
You'd speak up now.
