But what Singme doesn't see is that he, too, is being followed...heh heh heh...So what if I'm a day late in catching them? This is the internet!

as IF I didn't notice.

dude, this is like a 70s cop show where I look in my rear view mirror and see some big rectangular sinister car edging out in traffic...CRAP, I'm being followed!

pleasant sounds...I like the feel of this. I like how it builds from 2:19-2:29 and then gets soft again...nice subtle, dynamic shifts. Good song.

I 'm sorry that I got this so late. Great lyrics, great song. I could have done without the extra bars of drum intro, but that is a minor point. Great guitar sound and dynamics playing. I wish that I didn't have to work so hard to hear the lyrics. Still, classic in scope.

it's a very nicely written and performed song, i like the vocals, you're a nice singer... there's a touch of paul simon in the songwriting (the only living boy in new york), and even a touch of jimmy buffet... it's a great tune, very kindly relaxing. i'd listen again

Nicely done. The guitar tones are clean and ringy sounding.

This song is well played, has nice vocals and lyrics. The vocals could be brought out more in the recording and I would up tempo just a hair. It's a lovely piece, well done.

you know the worst part is it'll never get picked up by a major label not that you guys should care's a great song and your a good band..the satans that run music today have no taste in music. they either want eyeliner wearing 19 yr olds crying about momma did'nt love me enough or twenty overdubbed vocal parts with dancers behind them shaking asses and #@&%!..HEY...WILCO DID IT SO WHY NOT YOU RIGHT? GOOD LUCK AND I THINK THIS SONGS GREAT

That insistant lone drum beat sure got my attention from the start--A gentle duo of guitars pulled me in farther, and the vocals and excellent lyrics sealed the deal. Well played, recorded. It is appropriately titled...(I have a pet peeve w/ songwriters who won't do that for their songs...) I wish I could hear the vocals more clearly part of the time--they are cool a lot of the time. Lyrics are intrigueing, and the quiet vocals are definitely the right choice for the mood. I do like the dynamics here, too--Subtley almost catchy.

sounded fairly good, and with the competition this easily won.

I'm with zissou. This would have won under almost any other circumstances, tough battles right now. Really nice. Vocal seemed a little buried, but I'm gonna check it out again.

Sounds really good and it would have won the battle under most circumstances but it faced a brutally fantastic competitor. Sorry. I'll listen and apologize more when it's published.
