AlanaK - I am a fan.

I really liked "Lazy Summer", but this is so different it's hard to believe it's the same person/group - and yet I still love it. It's not as immediate as "Lazy Summer" but should have been an easy Feature. When I see some of the dross that does get published (including one of my own) I can't help feeling that there is no justice.

Great - unexpected - guitar and excellent vocal delivery. I thnk the ending needs a little work, but that's a minor personal quibble.

not to start anything... but the vibe this song gives me tells me that the songwriter(s?) isn't/never has been an addict... at least not to drugs. and the production is so polished i don't know whether to be impressed or to be turned off.

despite the insincerity that i get from it, the opposition was boring as hell, so it won.
i appreciate your comments, however.. drugs is not the only form of addiction, as many people including myself has found themselves behaving in a destructive manner.. which manifests itself similarly and serves the person just as well. As for the production, the song was more of an experiment which i think came out pretty cool, and since when was diversity in styles among a singular artist a bad thing?
additionally, production style on this song was meant to be "produced" other than the indie dry production that I preferd on my other records. This happens to not be mastered well either so the song is al ittle choppy, but i can assure you the emotion isnt contrived as I wrote and arranged this song myself.
