I really enjoyed this, as usual with your songs. I hope you add the extra 5 or 6 minutes of outro sounds for the album version.

i would like to mention that (imo) this song is really good. it's my attention span that causes me to twitch about after 3 minutes or so.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Bratty- two of our bandmates actually got in quite a disgreement over whether the song was better with or without the intro and outro. i actually had another 5 or 6 minutes of outro recorded, but decided to save that for later or the garbage bin.

And firth5a, thanks for the honest criticism- we were actually going to probably make this the last legit song on an album (if that ever happens) and felt like we maybe had a little extra room to breathe towards the end, though i can see that you feel we may have taken that a bit too far. is there anything else that you notice that you'd change about it? i mean- is it more the songwriting or the production that turns you off about it?

thanks again, all. really glad to hear that most people enjoyed it, and appreciate the honesty on the parts of the others.

I'm not going to give this a rating as I'm clearly not getting whatever it is that others are hearing in this song. It's nicely played, recorded and sung, but it's hardly a stand out tune in my opinion - pretty forgetable really. It sounds more like a sub-par Blur album filler track than anything else. if it had ended at around 3;30 it might have been better too - the last minute and a half really drags.

yeah, this is very cool, if it's not perfect, i can't see changing it... it's very you, and yet there were little moments i almost felt like i was listening to the beatles... like around 2 minutes... 2:48 on... (drums)... which is a compliment cause it sounded more like you than them... this is quite a masterpiece. congrats.

This had a laid-back feel that I liked and that was reminiscent of music I heard when I was more carefree...Once upon the early 70's--
