ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

This is absolutely gorgeous...I'd give advice if I felt I could be of help, but I wouldn't go near this....Rich, full, deep...A truely beautiful piece! I don't hear "Creep" at all amymore when I hear this...Just this.

the clap has wayy to much resonance, its sounds reverbed out and doesn't fit well with the rest of the song, doesn't sound natural at all

other than that good listen

well recorded and performed...nice feels too familiar at first but quickly develops beautifully. Very well done.........drum sounds are a little "flat" at times... could just be my #@&%!ty headphones yo

Radio Head's Creep has a very similar chord progression. A soothing and calming, sometimes quirky piece. Interesting lyrics made me lean in closer to hear...Captivating. I'd think it's radio-ready for the indie market. I like how it is sung as well as played and recorded...One day it'd be nice to see Abandoned Brain sharing the stage with David Bowie, who will have had his people call your people, and insist he sing a duet with you on stage...I can see it. It will B amazing! Loved the faint harmonies, thought they could have been brought up some more...Nice arrangement, dynamics...good work!

Thanks guys, especially for the Bowie comparisons. I agree that the mix could have been better with more work, just didn't put in the extra time. As far as the abrupt transitions go, that's the way song fell together originally and I hope that if someone were inclined to listen to it more than once or twice those changes wouldn't sound so awkward. maybe? thanks again.

i'd say bring those vocals up and brighten the eq some! be proud of those lyrics and melodies! i like most of this though i think it could have been mixed better and even arranged a little differently. but, hey. these things aren't just dashed off or accidental. i'm pretty sure you were happy with it when you submitted it, right? it's not like you're a newbie at this stuff. music is so fun! it's no wonder why so many people want to be musicians.

This song has some cool sounds, one that almost sounds like a saw and some piano parts that are really nice. The vocals could come up louder and the song seems a bit long, choppy in places and has an odd ending.

It's a pleasant enough song, but it sounds like an awful lot of other stuff I hear lately. Not necessarily a bad thing as I guess that means it's popular, but it doesn't really do much for me. It's got some nice touches - like with the piano at the midway point - but then it comes in with some cliches - like the heavy guitars towards the end.
