this is fantastic, sure, maybe you could get better sounds out of other software, the question is to what end? do you have a goal for your music? you have the genius for this, and the voice...

just to throw another suggestion in, Try Cubase SX (any version), it's by far the best and the most expandable sequencer and non-linear interface with a huge collection of software synths and instruments released for it (at a cost of course). And if you really want to splash ou tthere's an instrument for it called 'Hypersonic' that is by far and away thee best and most extensive synth instrument you're ever going to come accross, it's fairly expensive though.
It also has some excellent Audio plugins available (the Waves stuff standing out) that are great for finishing off your bits and pieces. I'm sure you can download trial versions of it or something to that effect if you want to give it a try.
The latest version puts Pro Tools to shame, A+ programming capiabilities (something pro tools still fails miserably on) and audio editing capiabilities to rival anything DigiDesign has to offer.

Have you ever considered getting Reason (program) ?
You might get better drum sounds, horn sounds...

no disrespect at all

that's awesome Mr. Vernon, you're quite the enigma
It's insanely good music, its a small audience - I honestly wonder if there's a demand for this in Paris, Tokyo, or Cruise ships. At least you deserve a big band.

This is killa stuff man! The writing and self production is great. You must spend a lot of time doing this!

All of the songs that you hear are written, performed and produced by myself alone at home.I have to admit that the other two guys in the photo are ones who i sometimes grab to play out on live gigs.

even I liked most of this, now please excuse me, i've to go wash my mouth out with turpentine for saying that, nothing personal, but I really dislike RnB,

you guys are like the Neville Brothers. . .good work. i dig the drum track. I kinda agree with Dave about the change, but there really wasn't anything wrong with this track at all.

Great vocals, great harmonies, great vibe, great tune.

It's great. Why aren't you guys famous yet? Get yourselves a decent manager or something.

Very 70s R&B, it could have used a intrumental section or a bit more of a change in the middle eight, though. The recording sounded a tad pushed also, but a good tune dispite that.
