ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

It IS true, every band has a song that a person will love...I respect the HELL out of your song writing but none of your other songs 'got' me(all awesomely performed) but this one...THIS one did and I am going to download it and play it often.

This managed to make the name Celia atttactive...It sounds so good. This is great poetry, great writing, playing and as usual, such effective, emotive singing. I can hear those embellishments you spoke of in my head along with the song, and it sounds damn good! Beautiful!

Thanks so much for the nice comments and reviews. Since putting this demo up we have added a bunch of pretty additions... including a 'strawberry field forever-esque' intro, some light 'ahh vocals' in the chorus, some strings (which come in at the appropriate lyrical point), electric piano chords on the verse, some keyboard distorted through a guitar amp to sounds like a quasi-guitar.... and much more things i couldn't be bothered explaining.

only heard this once when it was in battle, but it really stuck with me and on this listen seems comforting like an old great and familiar tune.

ready for Carnegie Hall or it's Australian equivalent... impeccable in all respects, especially it's humanity... i love that you gave us a stripped down version.

really good. beautiful vocal. nice strong melody. and the lyrics evoke, i don't know exactly what but they have a nice quasi-traditional ring to them like some timeless old folk ballads. Just overall, really good.
This is the early stages of recording for a new song that will be on our second album 'Night Kitchen'... there will be much more synthy goodness, guitars, drums, and vocal harmonies on the album version... this is just a taste for our friends our redfizz.
