The Sound of Machines

Tim Harden - Singer/songwriter/instrumentalist/engineer. I'm all about making the song what it should be, and recording what's in my head.

This is fairly well done, sound is decent. Song is very predictable though. Nothing really jumps out making me want to listen again.

I don't know what's up with all these brutal comments... This song is brilliant. Mr. Harden makes better music with soft instruments than 95% of these modern trendy bands do with actual instruments. Though, I do question wether or not the acoustic guitar is the real thing... Good Job man, Keep 'em coming!

Not too shabby. A little on the trite side with the cord changes and all.

I smell a Tim Harden / Ken Denny split EP, or hopefully a collaboration album.

The synthesized instruments are funny. Especially that timpani thing. I agree with wayne about the dropped beat in the beginning. I appreciate the attempt though.

something about the chord changes/dropdowns, it's obviously familiar, from other songs, but the changes seem to come too soon here... the vocals are good, yeah, sort of beach boys/bee gees... it's a nice tune, nice 70s vibe, easy listening, good feeling... agree the acoustic solo is nice, this is a nice tune, i'd just want to wait another beat before the dropdown on the chords, otherwise with a little fiddling, and maybe some lyric choices (for personal comfort), and this would be a nice radio tune. fairly well crafted.

i don't mind the hackneyed sentiment.. the cliche lyrics take the wind out of this one for me. But like that it has a nice melody to it, that's always good. like the acoustic solo, but not the predicatable bridge. so, there's good and bad here, but the bads stand out more.

something kindof Bee Gees about the vocals.
midi instrument sounds may have unacceptable lead content. have them tested.
the dropped stitch in the verse (1234, 123) feels a bit contrived.
the superimposed image in the photo makes it look like you have a Hitler moustache.
