You're channaling Zappa again in parts here...and you've finally grown into that "angry old man voice!" ; ) This may be your best vocal performance yet!

This absolutely has to go on the next album. Matter of fact, you should do some dual bass stuff with 2 bass players in MEZ. I'd love to see more crazy short tunes on the album.

You know I loved that Blue Bop. But dang.
MEZ prolificity is mind numbingly amassing a catalog of large proportion. I don't know what this sounds like. My favorite yet.

ok, look. we hardly ever get on the front page so i'm going to say something. now we have a big election coming up. i'd like to encourage each and every one of you to exercise your right as americans to go out and vote for the candidate of your choice. but, when you go... when you draw that curtain behind you and you are in that booth, alone... and you realize that your very vote may be the one that decides who is going to be the next president of the united staes... just remember this: don't fart. the person that comes after you will appreciate it. and that's bipartisan. my name is sputnikov 5, and i approve this message.

jazz/punk/rock fusion. maybe we should call it junk rock. no extra mezicular #@&%!heads were incorporated into the making of this song. just the two regulars. babar was the conceptual leader/lyricist/vocalist on this one. i was in charge of the squonkotron and a small group of pygmys. get it? a SMALL group of... oh never mind.

This sounds like an evolved combination of Zoogz Rift and Jello Biafra's Lard side project to me. The vocals are very zoogzie. Excellent bizarro jazz sounds. Did you fly in the amazing #@&%!heads for this?

yeah, it's a similar vibe, the only things I'd recommend are their live albums, like You Goddamned Son of a Bitch! and Linger Ficken' Good, the rest is sort of garbled. You'd like Gila Copters on Linger Ficken' Good however, it's got a spoken word piece via Timothy Leary. I don't like their last album, I think there one of the groups that aren't as good now that their either drug free or burned out.

the last thing I had heard was Beers, Steers and Queers...sorta lost track after that. I went back today and looked them up. Apparently still doing stuff (though with a revolving door of players and quests (including Jello Biafra, Billy Gibbons, Rick Nielsen, Trent Reznor). I was not really into them that much...I preferred Skinny Puppy.

haaa, well I'll say you're kind of the Revolting Cocks 2.0, with a much better sound
but bravo,

in all fairness, it's basically the members of ministry with a drum machine, and some synth sounds.

Wow....a 10 duh song....glad you found it entertaining there QC. And the Oingo Boingo (love Elfman). feel I think was sorta in the back of my mind, though there are parts where I was thinking John Zorn's Naked City.
Thanks everyone....more angry old guy music in the works.

did one of y'all do the vocal? that vocal is great, this is really cool, original... i have to admit the first couple times i listened to it, it was almost too chaotic for me to get all the way thru, but this morning, on headphones, it was fine... very nice work.

i never thought i'd say this about a mez tune... but this is pretty entertaining. kind of reminds me of oingo boingo. still hear that tatina "duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh" subroutine, though.
