ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

Seriously Sarah, you should shop this! It could be a hit, no prob. In fact, send it to a guy named Dave Bookman at Edge 102.1 here in toronto( It's the local nu-music station, and he hosts the indie show. I think he'd play it, I really do!

Sound has sixties authenticity - if Jimi's tuning in, I bet he's diggin it.

Love it. Honestly, I think the sixties-ism is a huge part of why the recording works... I can't imagine the song working with cleaner tones and such.

I've never seen the phrase "intelligent feedback" at this site before
that is very quizzical

the straight out of the sixties vibe is one of the things I liked about it... it's a cool sound, doesn't really matter when it was created...

I'm sorry I worded it wrong, it is obvious you have been making music for a long time, I should have said "recording music" for a very long bad!
I really do like the tune, but i can't download it for some reason.

Oh, dear. "How not to compliment someone."

P.S. I have been making music for a long time. The retro feel is intentional, and specific to this particular track. But thanks anyway!

Very nice....straight out of the sixties though. I think if you were to take it a little more serious you might find yourself making music for a very long time. And I would like to hear what you grow into, in say five years or so. overall very nice!

that's cool - I've got a korg D3200, but I'm pulling my hair out trying to use it. Great sounds though. Very nice.

What intelligent, specific feedback. Thanks, guys. I recorded it on a Korg D1600 - the electric guitar is a tele through a vox Brian May special (half the vocal went through that amp, too), the bass is actually an acoustic guild with the low end jacked, the tambourine is my daughter's - I played everything except the drums (my brother Brendan).

I've really been liking what's been getting featured these last few days, and this is no exception. Great work. Those harmonies are spot on for what this needs... they really make the song, along with that groove.

pretty good. the breakdown doesn't really intensify the song or justify it lasting any longer. i know it's only three minutes at the moment, but it's three minutes of doing essentially the same thing so that breakdown has to kick it up a notch.
catchy though. great guitar playing. awesome guitar sound. i'd love to know what equipment your using.

The tambourine still needs to be louder .Bit sloppy in places .Hey but that's kind of it's charm . I love the distorted vocals brave decision .And yes it does work. Can't hear the drums .I'm thinking this lo fi sound suits the track .Maybe just tweak it up and go the lo fi.Impassioned vocal is really carrying this track .

This is some funky-ass rythem and blues...Love these sounds...Seems like something removed from its time and mixed with the future. Momma's a mess of a confused babe, but a babe all the same!

This is the #@&%! right here. And I don't even like the blues all that much. Love the distortion on the vocal. And speaking of which...WTF?! I hear the voice, I expect to see an older woman, weather worn, and tired. Like an old stripper. I look at Sara's website, and it's this beautiful little pixie, whose G-String I would feel dirty trying to put money in.

My worldview is shook. Well done.
