ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

I like how you write songs. You do it well enough to keep me interested. You've got a nack for writing melodic songs. It's a novelty for now.

Thanks for comments.
aaron- thanks; nylon acoustic miked with a Shure SM57, vocals with some condensor mic, into a Behringer BCA2000, into Adobe Audition 2.0. School's done for summer, so that means I'll be able to record outside of a dorm setting again (!) relatively soon. I've got a lot more songs written and ready to be arranged, so it won't be long before this whole stripped-back phase is put on summer-long hiatus.

great song. worth multiple listens. genuine lyrics.
you definitely would benefit from working with others and creating a more full, modern sound.

Your stuff is growing on me. Pull a little verb of those vocals. Has an old school country vibe. Good job.

I didn't dig this all too much, but it was well-recorded.

really love the space you create with the recording/reverb, what's your setup?

i like the lyrics and the performance. the strength of the tune is in that, the hooks are subtle... this is captivating in the way it pulls the listener into the present moment.

i like how it fades out.
Have you seen Miss Benzedrine?
"All those things," she thought out loud,
"Were just dreams upside down"

"Now Ive been talking to Albert Hofmann
For weeks, in my sleep
Things get weird when they get deep"

Mirrors surround her
With salamanders

Ginger, ginger, sit in my blender
Mag-ga-ga-zine
Well get by on caffeine

Underwater
High on chowder

Ill just skip away
In your shoes
Like a candy cane
Kangaroo

Sold my celery,
And acid baths
For trails of batteries
On primrose paths
