ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

pretty nice-I wish it were the music they played on the commercial where the Native American(Indian) was looking at all the trash and pollution and the tear slowly rolled down his cheek- at least the chorus part- This sound takes me back to a simpler time.

Wierd! Someone put their clunky old cassette recorder up to a black & white TV playing a rerun of the Lawrence Welk show.

Feature this crazy #@&%!. This is what Leatherface would submit.

Plus - I mean, c'mon... "Why Won't They Listem"

GREAT PICTURE, song reminds me of an old 70's Trinity movie.

Not a very good recording, sounds like it was recorded in a public restroom, or a prison shower. Yea, if you think of it as a dude singing in a prison shower it adds a whole new dimension to this song. Am I right?

I wrote Why Won't They Listen? in February, 1972, before I was 'corrupted" by playing in front of live audiences.

I was stationed in Guam, and the B52's and 7600 support personel had just arrived to begin Bombing Vietnam. What scared the s**t out of me was that President Nixon timed his visit to China to arrive on the day before we started bombing.

I suspect that most 20 year olds still feel the same these days...

I guess now I'm really revealing my age.....
