ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

yeah, i can a hear a little Beatles in there. . .kinda reminds me of Brian Jonestown Massacre, or Pink Floyd's stuff from Piper at the Gates sessions. pretty good tune, really.

I love the Lips style guitar. The loose drumming can't hide what is a great song. I actually liked the reverse reverb on the drums. Great job. I saw Modest Mouse last week opening for REM. I don't think their songs were this good. This does sound really familiar.

me gusta. decent sounding recording. catchy tune. beatles-y yes. but also kind of modest mouse-y.

thanks especially for the Beatles comparisons. as for the drumming... i wish i could pass it off as an artistic phenomenon but it's just plain-old-fashioned bad drumming/laziness. collaboration anyone?

I like the song itself but like someone said the drumming is distracting. It is very Beatles-y which I like. The keyboard part is cool. But the kick just doesn't match the snare or the song very well and it ruins the sense of space and depth that the song should have or would have otherwise. The snare sounds far away, which fits the song, but the kick is right up front and a bit bassy. It's cool when it kicks in but the drums stay the same so you lose some of the impact that the entering distorted guitar should've given it. All in all, a pretty good song with just a few recording issues.

The drumming is distracting me from an otherwise lovely song. Get on the beat, kids! This is a great song, but it just needs to be executed better.

Awesome! So good to hear another marvelous piece of Brain matter. This was not a let-down by any means. Weird, but engaging that way, like a demented Beatles tune from the psychedelic period, but more sonically wicked.

i'm off my gourd on jenkem right now, so the title is amusing. digging.... digging.... things it reminds me of: Grandaddy.
i like everything the instruments are doing. lazy beat is nice. hm.. wait, taste your virginity? ok i'll roll with it. sounds like the drummer dropp'd his sticks at the end.
