No, I'm not shutting up.
This just isn't that great Unkle.
Too much brain in this tune and not enough balls.
It's bland and powerless.
And that's a sad thing cuz there is a fair amount of talent available.
The singer is afraid to show it, the guitarplayer waaay too eager to strut his stuff.
These peeps should start telling eachother to #@&%! off every once in a while.
Sounds like they are afraid to tell eachoter what's what.

shutup hellbike j/k

so you've got talent, and repeated remarks about your shiny hair

really, all i can recommend is a little better discretion on the mix and judicious selection when choosing the arrangements, so songs dont' sound borrowed or homogenized, and I think you'll be right up there with the big kid rock stars

in other words: if the guitarist needs to back off: make him do it, make sure nothing overpowers the vocals and make sure your songs stand out- or that's my advice

I guess I'm not being ispirational or sweet am I? Well maybe a straight talk could help here. THanks

Evanescence worked because Amy Lee blew us all to the wall. She was a little undeniable even if you don't fall for the genre. This voice isn't quite strong enough to carry the entire song.

think Evanescence: decent tune, great bass lines, not in love with the heavy guitar parts, or the sound, a little loud IMHO

it's formulaic but most things are-

Agree that this starts a little slow. When the guitar solo is in the middle, the right side of the stereo spectrum has the piano going on but nothing is balancing it out on the left side. I think the instrumental break should also be cut down to a lesser length.

aaron is right, the intro is too long, and the singer needs to be less afraid to be raw, and cut loose.

iinto part doesn't really pull me in, so it asks a lot of me to keep listening, but it's done well, and you're a nice singer. i can't fault it, just doesn't connect. better when it picks up after 1:20... i'd cut the first minute, because it keeps getter better after that, then the beat carries it somewhat. but the vocal lacks something, not in quality, but it's too careful trying to be good sounding rather than inspired freedom, if that makes sense. disregard me if i'm writing nonsense.
