ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

Ante Meridiem - We grew up in Easton MD, where there was nothing to do on the weekends but play music with our friends. Now we live in Cincinnati OH while I (Shea) finish school. We get bored/distracted very easily, so our sound shifts with what we are into at the moment of conception. Some days we like to sit around outside and sing coombayah with our acoustic guitars, sometimes we freak out on synthesizers and ableton live.

Nice, unaffected guys with a rounded sound, interesting instrumentation and timeless voices. What more could you want for a Feature?

Well yeah, pants are not a real serious topic. We think that its is a good thing not to take things too seriously. Thats kinda the point of the lyrics. Hey, you can't please everyone. We are glad just to please anyone. Thanks for the comments.

yeah, "pants" is automatically silly. there's this splendid pavement song that begins, "someone took [long pause, during which you wonder, "took what? your heart? a trip? what?]... in these pants"

i dig the sentiment but find the word "pants" tainted by a silliness that i cannot account for.

I kinda liked the bridge part... it broke up the commonness of the simple unadorned progression. I would have liked for the whole song to have that spirit of adventurousness.

These pants have no pockets,
for me to put things in,
things that on most occasions,
i'd prefer to keep within.

My keys, my lighter, and my cell phone,
I left them all back home.
I've come out
to run aroun on my own.

Some doors may go unopened,
some cigrettes may go unlit,
that's just the price you pay,
to get away from all of it.
I'll walk down to the ocean,
I'll step out onto the sand.
but if I find an answer,
I'll have to hold it in my hand...

But if all of us,
were simple as calculus,
we could maybe then remember what was good for us

And if the crazy gadgets
that we've built burned to the ground
it'd be simple like it started
and we'd all calm down

These boots were made for mountains,
but they don't see much more than floor.
'Cause the life I live lends itself
to laying down all day indoors.

I'd like to make my getaway
and treat my body well.
I'll know the day is coming
when it snows a foot in hell.
