ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

i was never quite happy with the production on that CD. the guitars were all an accoustic with effects added later in garageband. it was what i had to use at the time. here's an accoustic version of the same song.

I think this needs a much cleaner production. It's an interesting song but the sound of the guitar distracts me. And the vocals are good enough to get them more up to the front with less reverb. Maybe you're not into that but I hear a nice Wilco song in here... with quite a different production

for some reason this really reminds me of Blur. . . this really isn't bad at all.

i actually like this in a lot of ways but i'd suggest putting a little more time into your drum track. and maybe construct a pop guard for your mike. i know i need one. i have to keep sing to the side of the mike to keep from popping my p's.

that guitar is too far out in front of the mix. Other than that, it's pretty much a reject for me. There's something about this that reminds me of when the Nixons were good.

kinda floydish, dark side of the moon meets courtney love's/billy corgan's sad "usemekillme" Cure-like vibe...sometimes looses its footing, but I kinda like that--
