ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

Ante Meridiem - We grew up in Easton MD, where there was nothing to do on the weekends but play music with our friends. Now we live in Cincinnati OH while I (Shea) finish school. We get bored/distracted very easily, so our sound shifts with what we are into at the moment of conception. Some days we like to sit around outside and sing coombayah with our acoustic guitars, sometimes we freak out on synthesizers and ableton live.

vocals are stylistically much like Death Cab, music is a little more frenetic, and less droning, however. This is actually really good, i like the bass, and the progressions are good. Many good elements, many good transitions.

like the drums on the chorus(you speak soft syphonies)you make a four not sound like a four(this is always good)

I gotta say that your songs are hard to review, and I mean that in a complimentary manner. You got the gift

Guitar sounds pretty damn good in the chorus. Same for the bass. And that (what is it? tabla?) drum in the verse is pretty rad. I think my biggest complaint is how the song structure is so ABABCA... not that that's always a crime, but I feel like for a song that's been so cleanly produced, more substance in that area would really push it over the edge.

I kinda like it. I was hoping some distorted guitars would kick in but this is still pretty rocking!

i found myself wondering if i'd opened two different browsers during the intro. i respect the coolness and the talent here, but something about this rubs me wrong, not sure what. "let me be the one" is a nice mild hook.

This is a very cool song... very indie-sounding. For me, the mix leaves just a little to be desired. I would have liked a chance to mix a song like this. But that's a minor problem for what is one of the better submissions I've heard on RedFizz lately. Cheers!!

Very cool. Where'd that come from?

the style is kinda flaming grunge youth or something, and I'm over teh cracking voice chorus, it's very good work and annoying, but a lot of my favorite artists fit that description - feature you crackers

Like this one a lot. Distinctive vocals and hooks are your calling card. The instruments could be a little tighter, but you're on the path to somewhere big.
