ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

Ante Meridiem - We grew up in Easton MD, where there was nothing to do on the weekends but play music with our friends. Now we live in Cincinnati OH while I (Shea) finish school. We get bored/distracted very easily, so our sound shifts with what we are into at the moment of conception. Some days we like to sit around outside and sing coombayah with our acoustic guitars, sometimes we freak out on synthesizers and ableton live.

Not really my cup of tea... but absolutely achieving what it hopes to...synthy sound behind second verse doesn't quite settle in to that texture...very well done

Hehe that's sweet, nice music/lyric clash irony. Catchy hookline on the chorus. I really like the arrangement in the beginning and esp. the first two choruses. To me, the middle instrumental part lacks something (although it is a nice break from the intensive melody and lyrics going on in the rest of the song, I think it could still do that even if it had some more detail - percussive or melodic). I also would like some more flesh on the last chorus or at least some more distict change in the arrangement, but hey - I'm a classic poppy girl:)

Vocals work really well the harmonies are simple but effective and the synth details in chorus arrangement are cool and underlines the breezyness.

you tricked me, i thought you were going to say "preparing for the end".

clever song, yeah, hints at barenaked ladies, vocal phrasing, accent., etc.. would have liked more noticeable harmonies. pleasant listen.

sounds like Blink182 meets The Long Winters, with hint of Barenaked Ladies. good job

This was an interesting arrangement. I liked the instrumentation. The song though itself wasn't as innovative or different as the music. Not bad but could use a little work lyrically and a bit melodically in a few places but overall a very cool feel.

Now you're starting to show your sophomoric instincts, which is a bit disappointing compared to some of your previous, more subtle offerings.
