Personally I don't care. It took me something like 16 songs to get to 2nd stage and I didn't get featured until it became a vote. That cured me. I like being able to submit something like this and know there's a place for it in the reject queue. Now if some songs never got published, that would be something different all together...

actually I think JB and I and Unkle Tom or Balcerebron are rejected in a infinite manner that time may cease to exist and matter would implode. It's just the natural order.

I think I'm biased towards guitar but i dig JBs playing immensely.

I'm definitely up for that. I seem to have more for someone else's music than my own. I'm in Berkeley and work in Oakland. I just threw together a blues number for blues month then I'm looking to do some more serious work.

i know what you mean with work and all.

"I'm not to big on production value these days." if your performance values drop too, and if you ever have the time and the inclination to collaborate on a song/recording let me know. i think we're both in the bay area.

definitely the blues month. I meant to mention that the guitar playing and tones are killer! What's your major? Sweet.

Hey thanks. I was just messing around here. I definitely shouldn't even pick up a bass, but I've been feeling a bit more comfortable on the slide. It was great playing drums for The Clarences because I had not played a set since '89 or '90. It's good to see the site chugging along. I'm working full-time and going to school full-time and I rarely have time to contribute to the site, but I liked the vibe of this and thought I'd pass it on. I'm not too big on production value these days. I feel lucky just to get something down. Thanks again and my best to all of you. I'll put some work in backstage. Hope to see more of y'all at the RF. Is the Blues Month thingy for real?

you've such a great and distinctive vocal, JB. cool tones all around. beautiful guitar tone too. the drums and bass are a little thin in the mix. but damn, sounds really really really great even so.
is it really blues month? didn't know.

love the kick-in/up-tempo at 3:32ish... swings me.
Sorry about the horrific bass playing. Just in the mood to stop by the ole RF and say howdy with a song. JB
