Richie Isaacs - My work here is just me having fun with music, trying out ideas and letting my crazy inner voice play with a sharpened plastic spork.
I actually work best in a band scenario and is normally what I do,this stuff here is me having a bit of fun outside of my normal setting...also,if my cloning machine didn't look like a sheet hastily taped over a broken wardrobe with an old bike lamp tied on I'd clone my own band.

sounds like a live take from a Ry Cooder or Paco de Luca disc. Very cool. Could use a better mix, but whatever.

ok, so i go out of town to meet rich and influential music industry types, and while i am gone you are posting these tunes. How did i miss this one? and it got featured! Perhaps thats why, it seems what i tend to write positive about usually gets #@&%! canned, but its great to se you get a feature with this spanish gem. nice playing, all around well deserved feature! may i thrust 5 stars on your crowning acheivement........

Of course, I meant to write "I can't even hear that fast" (can't type that accurately, either).
About time!
You're probably about the best guitar player here. Believe it.

Yeah it was on my old myspace a year or so ago and on my old original myspace page I deleted that page and started afresh(net junky was there in the beginning lol) and I do believe it was on path as well dude,it's an oldie and one of my early recordings,I'll post my first digital(full)recording after that messy jazz one is done :)

I really was obsessed with those two and no matter what I did I played like them, well,Rodrigo as I couldn't do her amazing rhythm thing even with the instructional DVD I had!
And that's not harsh baby, that's honesty and THAT is what I like to hear, like Keeves comment on my cover of your song that was taken off,I wanted it there as the honest critiques give me something to fix next time around...reckon I might have to find Jayden and get my R y G CD/DVD back and give this an update :)

This is really amazing and beautiful. I wanted to say something before about how you could share the bill with Rodrigo y Gabriel, but didn't. Now I will. Because you can,and will, turn in a longer composition with better sound quality, I deduct a half star. There's better stuff where this came from. I'm being harsh, because you're that good. Still a feature song in any case! Congratulations, Richie! Mwah!

Hey,how did this end up here? Hah I thought I was second stage for life ;)
Funny thing is about this piece here is it nearly never got published,my self esteem and self image has been VERY low for many many years so thought people wre just being polite when they say I play well, seriously, and to me this piece wasn't anything special..haha I guess you all disagree huh? My self image is MUCH better these days and how could it not be as I have the most awesome lady ever(yay!)who thinks I'm A-OK as I am.Yay!
As for vocal work there are one or two on here already themondays(is there like a human name I can call ya?)but what happens with me IS I am a session player come band member 90% of my musical life,I usually play FOR a living,my songs here(and on myspace.soundclick, facebook etc)are me letting my creative side out so I don't go mad from playing stuf I'm not really into so yes I do extensive work with vocalists(try Monkey & Trouble on here for my lady and me) but here on the 'net it's MY turn to shine.
Thanks y'all.

this si really good guitar work, its reminds me of a stripped down , cleaner version of like an al dimeola, or maybe frank mariino and mahogany rush...love the lick at like 1:25 or so...do you do any pieces with vocals ? wondering what it would sound like

I agree with Nomad!Ritchie you are such a versatile talent.I was going to say join a band. But then I thought no.You need your own band. You don't need to make someone else sound good.Which I am sure you have labored with in the past. You have vision.I know it's hard but please try it one more time.

damn, man. different, but great! Good pickin' skillz! Cool venture into the hybrid!
As you know I am a little backwards,of the three Spanish inspired pieces(from my short fixation with Rodrigo y Gabriels a cuppla years ago)this was the first one, followed by my altered ego Monkeys garbled slurry warbling cover of Children Of The Grave and full closure with Spain Pain.
I now have to learn how to play a polka, dammit,as I unwittingly set myself the challenge...now,where's my lederhosen...
