the composition is solid to me, but the patches are holding it back. unless, you are going for a more obviously electronic sound. i've thought sometimes when scott and i are working on a mez tune and i'm trying to find all these organic sounding patches, that it might be just as interesting to go full immersion in the electronic sythy sounds and tones. but i always end up trying to make a drum sound like a drum, a horn sound like a horn, etc. one day, though.

The opening theme is fabulous, A trumpet in the 'sax' theme would sound cool in my opinion. But great sounds overall.

The moth flew off when Chuck Norris entered the building(well, the buliding saw him and walked to Chuck)
ANWAY,this is the perfect song for sticking on the front of an old school kung fu movie, seriously,I have far too many 70s chop socky classics and this is wht I heard on nearly all of them.
I dig it man,it's a gas.

You do some really intricate compositions and you clearly have a feel for a melody, but it's the casiotone sounds that often put me off. If I were in a jazz club listening to this being played by musicians on real instruments I think I'd be loving it a lot more than I do. Even so, because I'm rating on the composition rather than the performance this is above average work - so 3 and a half.

The opening gives me a nice Gino Vanelli feeling, The sax like solo coming out of it is too static. The whole piece falls apart at times. That's a pity, because the first theme is real strong. It deserves a better composition. Second stage for the nice themes still.

the other day i saw a moth on the wood siding of an apartment that looked exactly like this picture, and i thought of you.
i dont dislike the song but it sounds like one of those pre-recorded keyboard songs they used to put on casios in the eighties. needs a human touch
