Oh, whoa, I thought I saw this in the second stage queue. I was glad to see it got featured. I'd been waiting for a chance to hear this one again. Much as I love Dylan's work, or at least a good percentage of it, this puts his version to shame. Seriously.

I try not to hand out five stars at a time too often, but this is too damn good.

Not interesting enough for a simple guitar&voice combination. You have the fundamentals: a bass line, a melody and a harmony, but I'd like to hear them. Emphasizing them with more instruments or a stronger guitar arrangement (see Nick Drake or Jose Gonzales) is recommended. If you take the path of more instuments, a lead guitar could help fill the gaps in your melody.

Nicely played and well sung - but as it's not an original song and as I normally rate stars more on the song than the performance it would be unfair to mark this too high.

Nathan, you've proven that Dylan is still the great songwriter he always was. But you already proofed yourself a great songwriter too. Songs like the Needs and Playground Act are amongst the most beautiful and touching I've heard the past months at Red Fizz and in general.

What a beautiful rendition! I can't get into Dylans work no matter how hard I try BUT when my friends cover him it seems to make a lot more sense...
Beautifully stark, honest bare and sung with actual felt quiet passion..wonderful my friend and the perfect companion for insomnia.

Enthralling version. You got a great feel for underacting. Your voice has reins and you keep them tight to make it move slow and majestic.

I was skeptical until you started singing. This is really freaking good. I might have to give Time Out of Mind another chance. Feature.

You might win me over to Dylan yet; this is captivating and very endearing. Cool vocals, show a lot of improvement in clarity, and really a treat. Your voice sounds great, the low notes and shivers really get me! A beauty.
