sounds good mix equal parts chipoltles (in adobo sauce) honey and mayo and you've got a great spread to do with that sandwich, or that's something that we used to sell a lot of.... Mmm goes well with brie, as does a raspberry jelly
wonderful my man!

haha...ok, so now NathanWayne owes me a cd. Actually, if you want a cd you can have one for suggesting a sandwich capable of offending me.
Man unk, that veggie sandwich sounds pretty good.
For lunch tomorrow I've prepared a slab of french baguette encrusted with poppy seeds with loads of brie, tomato, lettuce, a faux-chicken patty, pickles and mayo. I almost went with wasabi mayo but it just didn't feel right.

hmm and I was about to mention this awesome sandwich I used ot get with oven roasted zuchini chips, melted goat chese and grilled caramelized onions and tomatoes. All on a panini with capers and a little white wine vinegarette made sauce. It was the bomb.

An open french bread pizza is awesome too!

last night after patricks day celebration. we were all back at the house, stoned, and drunk, lookin for something to eat. and we broke into a can of nacho cheese and were, at first, using some bread and just kinda dipping it or making a cheese sandwich and a friend of mine started bringing out some condiments from the frig, to spice things up, and proceeded to make a sandwich with white bread, nacho cheese, thousand island dressing, cajun seasoning, soy sauce, and mustard. He swore up and down that it was the best sandwich he had ever tasted. We were all to scared to try it.

right on!!! We still need a 3rd winner right? Sandwiches are lie songs I guess. You can really disect the layers, the ingredients, qualities, and beginning middle and end. It is an art. Check this out. Good website design and good sandwiches if you have one in your area. Highly suggested.

yep, unk, you were on the right track with the simple sandwiches. That's kind of what I'd imagined, but holy heck, that taste of luxury sandwich is out of control and even though it may be the official sandwicch of AIG luncheons I have to give it the big nod of appproval. I want it. I want it now.
The Sputnikov Mojo sounds pretty fantastic too...oh, sweet brie. I'm not normally a big fan of ham but when it has such accompaniment how can I complain?
PBJ is a classic unk, and more along the lines of what I was thinking...I've been eating Mexican PBJ lately- pbj in a tortilla.

So, the order of winners is:

1st place goes to : a taste of luxury

then there's a two way tie between the Sputnikov Mojo and PBJ

send me your addresses through myspace and I'll get out your copies of my album.

Thanks for playing the sandwich soundz game, yo

I'll have to go with Paninni or a simple PBJ or grilled cheese
that's cheating but am I right on any of the 3?

The sandwich, called ‘A Taste of Luxury’, combines fresh lobster tail with
claw crab meat and wild red salmon in a strawberry and champagne salsa
and is topped with Beluga caviar on a corn bread coated with white truffle

one of the best sandwiches i ever ate was at a little joint in new orleans (pre-katrina) called the mojo lounge. it was brie cheese, black forest ham and granny smith apple slices, with lettuce and mayo, on multi-grain wheat bread (baked there). it may have just been that it was n.o. or the cajun bloody marys, or that i was just ending a 17-year stint as a vegetarian, or that i was in love, or all of the above. but it was an awesome sandwich. i've never tried to duplicate it. i'm hoping to go back to the mojo one day and order it again.

thanks in heaping mounds to all for the feature and comments. I want to say more than I have time to convey just now since I'm in need of major z action and 6-ish in the AM is coming up fast. I love you all like a sister. Also, I have three copies of Mysterious Dot to throw into the crowd (including one with one of a kind cover art- now that's a limited edition, eh?). All you need to do to get one is to name a sandwich. I'll give them to the three fizzers who put forth sandwiches that I would most like to eat. ok? ok- go! please, list a sandwich or this will become a tremendous embarrassment and I'll have to give up on eating sandwiches because of the bad association. I really enjoy sandwiches, so help me out here, ok?

i've really got a taste for this type of patchwork stuff, with all the noises... fun and fearless, and that odd time really dries this as does the cool bass line and, as always, the drums. excellent.

a tiny bit too amorphous for me. however, there are a lot of very cool sounding components going on here. i like the way the drums were miked, sounds really natural. obvoiusly not a pop single, but a nice example of studio and mixing room creativity. i have no idea what hob knocky means.
A song from my new-ish album, Mysterious Dot. Matt lewis played the geetar with panache.

thanks for listening.

no don't look away pull up a seat and we'll start this play
took a chance to stow aboard a Man Ray inspired float
days out of phase just like a tin man out in the rain
say I like this place looks like a dream where dreams aren't the same

kiss on the way walk in velvet moonlight
this is the way we walk inside the moon
cratered and crowned offers a cup of oh let's see what's new

went in deeper past the reaper
winked said see ya- fear can't free ya

never take for granted what you've got in the season
give it up the ghost of yesterday's reason
change up the motions make a map of the theatre
take out the bill and draw a heart around the clown frown

flow sweet static veil I met a feline out in the hail
stare hypnotic gaze into a streamlined wormhole in space
