The only thing more pointless than commenting "zzzzz" is seconding it. I mean that as diplomatically as possible but sheesh.

And thanks so much again unklespaz for your warm words. I see what you mean. Parenthood has eased down my nervous energy, I guess.
Thanks Richie, right on:). And Alexander, I like your analysis of this song. Much appreciated. And iNFINITE tHANXto the KING, you're such a great support. Good luck with your busy mastering days.

reminds me of a modern day John lennon if he had computer recording. Splendid, and lovely. I know the character and the soul behind this so I'm biased but this is so cool with the multi faceted orchestration. THe scales remind me a bit of some of the Afro pop styles of Ali farka Toure but you cant really pinpoint any influences. Beatiful shimmering tone poetry. Thank you as always. One of my favorites. It does't have any nervous energy of some of your early work. Totally relaxed reflective vibrations.

Usually I'll just leave well enough alone but the gaudy rating over 9 votes (are they really "votes" though?) got me to log in and comment. The arrangement trumps the song itself, which is decent. Part of this is the lyrics, but ultimately the (literal) bells and whistles are what stand out about this track. Also, the structure is good. I'd say you stretched the #@&%! out of your dollar on this one.

Thank you all for the great comments on this song. It's kind of overwhelming all the positive support it got. As said in the liner notes it was an old up tempo punk pop tune that I've written around 1997 and played a lot of times with my old band Hairy Love Gum. Last year I recorded this more sensitive version. It felt like covering my old song. I didn't have to think about the composition, but could concentrate on the sounds and arrangements. Anyway, that was fun to do. Im really glad most of you like it that much.

What that Tony guy said and more.....Reject ? If fizz continues to reject songs like this by nameless reject lonely masturbators. Then the next thing that will be rejected is Fizz it's self.

Rejects should not be allowed without a comment! I think this song and it's hard for me to say it.But I do believe this is your best yet.If I could hit feature twice I would.Double barrel feature from me.WOW.Instrumentation and mix balance perfect.Lyric sublime[as usual].

A little sing song melody problem and the dreary lyrics don't do anything for me or the song(but at least it is a song).. but, nicely put together and I like the multi-instrument density. There is a distinctive personality to this, which is in itself, an achievement.

king: i would love to hear warren ellis on this, he might be the number one influence on my own guitar playing (maybe tied with steve malkmus), and the dirty three are one of my favourite bands of all time.

whoa dude. really good.

The only part that I questioned was around 1:40 or so, when the lower vocal part comes in- on second listen, it's not as much of a shock, but, still. The orchestra sounds good as ever, and the background vocals sound great to me, other than that one part.

Feature, beautiful stuff.

It see how hard it is evaluating songs on one listen. I forgive all you cock knockers.
