Five stars are barely enough to honour the sweet soul of this song.

I like the vocal sound. I was commenting much like you would comment on a dry martini, and it seemed like a bit of an intense departure from some of the earlier stuff. Maybe a refined ore more mature sound? Hard to say but still stellar man.

beautiful production. I don't know if it's my mood but this is so sublime it just floors me. The clarity and such. Rasta on the down under brother. Love Tony the gang. A legend in zen. The only thing that I'd question is the vacuum tightness and the proximity of the vocals. It's a very impressive effect but it doesn't feel as loose as some of the tunes. No echo no crazy chaos or fuzz blending. Well well done but it misses that dancey think that my Marley boots have. Just a rhetorical preponderance.

This is the Tide track that first blew me away. Dig the Sensimilla Rockafella Artful Dodger from upcountry. Hurts so. The reggae bobble organ is just sweet nokaoi, brah. I don't remember the background singers and I think I would like it better without them, but I know better than to second guess the King. This tune could let them take over the world if widely distributed. One land: one love: one King.

Sounds perfect to me. You guys couldn't be any sharper. I saw Dr. John recently and his band wasn't any tighter. Much deserved success on your record.

I submitted this song a month or so back in demo form.I think this is the final mix?Sorry about putting up another song while we still have one back here but we are Mastering the new album "Roots Pop Reggae"on the 9th of April.Hence I need the mighty fizz feed back. Thanks

What can I say than just wonderful. Very naturally sweet sounding song. I agree with conquistador that your vocals are more direct in the mix here than in your other songs. That lifts them a little out of the music, but that's probably a deliberate choice. it's nice and intimate the way it is. A classic song.

i feel like a tool even offering you advice, but wheres that king tide patented reverby vocal? the occasional word (helicopter) has some, with some delay i guess.
if this is the final mix and its just being mastered, maybe you might eq the drums a tad to give them a little more body? or you could just do what you do, which seems to be working pretty well already. im gonna go pick some leaves off some trees.
